No problem, I just happen to know my bugs and you got lucky when I saw your thread lol
I totally forgot to mention the ladybug thing, I would totally recommend them if you can afford them, they do indeed clean out any aphids. Ladybugs are aphids natural enemies, the one problem with using them is making sure they all stay in the area where they are needed.

Also yes spraying them off with water works, but it doesn't do so great indoors, even if you have an indoor area that is safe to spray down, chances are their going to get sprayed into corners, other plants, on walls, pretty much everywhere the water goes, I don't recommend it unless you're growing outside.
Yeah, your right about the water, my bad, maybe wouldn't work so good inside. Just smash em with your fingers lol.

Hmmm. Well the area i have is actually open along the bottom (air intake) and its in a room. I basically have an area sealed off in an insulated shed with white and black plastic and its open along the bottom with a 125mm fan at the top to pull the air out through a vent.

Considering the shed is in a back garden they might just run into the garden (there's gaps around the door and the window is always open a crack)

I dunno id say you need a sealed environment for the lady bugs to work very well..such as a tent??

I think the fact that i havent got a sealed environment eliminates the possibility for co2 or lady bugs to have full effect..would that be a correct assumption???

I think im gonna thoroughly spray with neem and squash the shit out of them :D

No. I use lady bugs on my outdoor vegetable garden every year when I get aphids. Some will fly off, most will stay for a meal. You release them at the base of the plant and they naturally climb up and start eating, they stay till the aphids are eradicated.

Yeah, it would tend to waste a lot of co2, I would forget that idea. But if you ever have a sealed room, CO2 is a very viable option.

Happy hunting lol

But then again..i could just get 500 lady bugs instead of 250...(money isnt really an issue) xD
Not sure you need that many, but hey, if $$ is not an issue, it would assure plenty stay on the plants.

Ah cheers man! Ladybugs it is then. Ill get them asap.

Ill upload some pics of the aphid destruction if i get any, if i get 500 this could be an overnight massacre!

I cant wait to watch the bastards being eaten!! Muahahahaha!!!

Yeah, it's pretty cool, they eat them like crazy. And I was thinking about your room... I think they will mostly stay because the way out is so small. I think most will stay on the plants, some will fly off around the room and then come back to the plants, and fewer still will fly away. When I do them outdoors, I'd say better than half stay on the plants. I believe you will have better luck. OH! and those people are real cool, if you get too many DOA, just message them and they will send out a replacement. They did it for me, even sent a larger amount.

Dude sorry about your problems. Thats pretty bad. I almost feel like I just got infested just opening this thread ;). Ever just think of cutting the fan leaves off, since you are so close to harvesting anyway? GL

Peace

Hey Saltrock.

Yeah i got home today and i couldnt stand to see a leaf covered in aphids so I took the infested fan leaves off and threw them outside. I think that any normal person would do that xD

PREPARE FOR LADYBUGS BITCHES (talking to the aphids xD)
