Snow White versus White Rhino.

well i dont get it...
back in the day when overgrow was kickin' and nirvana got popular there were a ton of strainguide reviews for nirvana's seeds. back then White Rhino was much, much more popular. now its the complete opposite... on nirvana shop theres only 28 reviews for White Rhino, while Snow White has more than 120.
im very confused here, these are both {White Widow x (indica)}.
here's the stats...
White Rhino: White Widow mixed with a canadian indica. shorter, more dense, and more of a couchlock buzz than widow. harsh/pungent fuel flavor.
Snow White: White Widow mixed with an american pure indica. short, dense, and heavy couchlock buzz. sweet/smooth flavor.

ive seen many pictures of both and its very hard to tell the difference...
so roll it up'ers!! help me out here and lets clarify the differences in these strains and tell me which one you like best and why!!

lol, yeah im close to ordering it... just cant make my mind up. i cant beleive how much more popular snow white is now on nirvana. white rhino used to be their top strain.

no good advice or opinions? so far all i can get is that the flavors are a bit different, and that's pretty vague. i mean come on these are popular strains, and for some reason they've completely switched in popularity on nirvana-shop.

you guys think maye one is (widow x nothernlights) and the other (widow x afghan/or aurora indica)?? im sure its a small difference like that...
heck now there's even ice x widow (white castle) and they've had crystal [(widow x nothern lights)x northern lights] for a while.
i dont get it... why have so many similar widow mixes... and not much info on the differences.

This might just be me But I have grown Nirvana White Widow and White castle. seeing the Snowwhite and White rhino makes me think that the White Widow is taking the Dom roll in all of these crosses. I personaly like the white castle better and will order it again. Aside from that I think its flavor and or smell once you start getting into the nirvana crosses of White Widow.

yeah im starting to see that, it seems like taste is the major difference if i had to find one. sure makes it hard to choose one tho...

no... and we are speaking of nirvana's strains here. nirvana says right on their site that its a "canadian indica" that its mixed with. while the snow white it says a "pure american indica". check for yourself on nirvana-shop.

Well then that shows you it is not real white rhino.Thats why i dont shop at nirvana its just a bunch of knock off strains no good in my book.You want real white rhino go with greenhouse or mr.nice medicine man

Kinda funny you should mention both.. I am actually growing both.. My Rhino is kind of finicky at clone stage, whereas my WW in the past was very very easy to clone.. My Snow white only popped about 5 days ago along with my bubbilicious

As you can tell I'm a big fan of the White strains... Some odd reason tho, my rhino looks like its a 50/50 indica/sativa... I will find out more in about a month (been blooming for a month).. just has some characteristics of sativa.. I got 1 fem bean from a friend who grew the others out and started a mother, gave me a spare bean from his order (not from nirvana)..

The tall part is whats fkn me up in my grow, i thought rhino was a pure indica? maybe mine isnt a 50/50 indica/sativa.. its just a taller indica?

Maybe yours leans more towards the sativa side or it just stretches more than the others.
But if its from nirvana you dont what its crossed with..

Hard to say

It has the typical indica fatass leaves and branching.. just looks like a tall indica (the height is why i thought it had some sativa characteristics).. no real stretching as I squat my 1000 as low as i can throughout the grow..

wow! amazing how people get this mixed up so easily....
ive obviously been speaking of NIRVANA's STRAINS!! who's to say if any strain is the REAL thing anyways without it being a clone from the original... and even then its just a name.
if you like the white rhino's offered by the other seedbanks then thats cool, but im interested in nirvanas white rhino, and snow white

OMG!!! its right in the description for nirvana's white rhino. i never mentioned any other breeder. lets stop with the mis-leading info please.

nirvana strains may borrow names and not be the exact same thing. but they are just as good if not better than some more "heard of" seed companies. and i know this by experience, in fact go try their northern lights... its probably the best one out there especially for the cost. might not be the same plant as SENSI's northen lights, but that doesnt mean sensi's is the real thing and nirvana's isnt... and finally more and more people are starting to see this instead of paying rediculous prices for "brand name" seed packs. in fact, other breeders have adopted the same name as some of nirvanas strains... does that mean they're "knock-offs"? no.
there is all sorts of white rhino strains out there... we are speaking of NIRVANA'S WHITE RHINO and SNOW WHITE!! thank you!

ive noticed thru lots of research on my own... that white rhino seems to be a bit more sativa in some cases and has a hashier flavor. where snow white has little variation and seems to be more on the indica side than the rhino. snow white also has been described as having a somewhat sweet flavor, much different from the white rhino.

also in the past on overgrow, white rhino was so popular (nirvana) that there was a seperate thread for people that had obtained a purple pheno of it. one person named it purple hippo!! it was awesome looking. too bad overgrow is all gone... but u can still find the old posts without the pics of you go searching for it. lots and lots of positive reviews for white rhino on there! wonder what made snow white become more popular over the past couple years?
