I have that same timer and felt like a 1st grader trying to figure it out :wall:

I know I'm late, but man, that sucks about your beans. I was going back and forth between Nirvana and Attitude, but I know who I'm going with now.

I'm sub'd.

Right? Shit is goofy. And mine doesn't even work correctly. A couple of the on/off triggers don't work so I have to avoid that time. You know what really grinds my gears...

Thanks for the sub, and I would go with Attitude after hearing about my debacle. And have it sent to a friends, so you don't have to use your actual name. If t were me doing it again, I may the extra dollars for a t-shirt stealth or something.

Last night I did some minor trimming on leave sets that were dying off due to branching. You can see the before and after below:

I'm going to take an aerial shot here once lights come on, as I think those show progress the best.

nice auzzie, but why dont you remove that little mass of leaves right rear the base they cant be getting much light down there...
besides that i always hated leaves that close to the dirt because it makes it easier for pests to crawl on..
but thats just one of my pet peeves, do what you do mang...

I figured since it was my first grow I was going to let one plant grow completely naturally (sans a few trimmings for dying leaves), and then have another plant which I will play with more. The bagseed #1 will be my experimental plant. I already have it in a trellis. But you're probably right, I should clip the bottom growth to force some more vertical stretch (my plant is only 4" right now).

And speaking of pests, spider mites are completely gone. I should cut out a circle of polyfilm to place at dirt level, now that you mention that.

My infestation wasn't too bad. So I sprayed with dish soap and water mixture, then wiped down every leaf with a cotton t-shirt everday, for about 4-7 days. After that, no more mites. The main infestation was on a palm plant I have elsewhere in my living space. I took the palm plant outside and treated it with a 50/50 Isopropyl alcohol/water mixture which killed the mites on impact. The soap and water on the special girls I had to spray off with plain water 20 minutes after I sprayed it on. And it worked like a charm.

But I'm still keeping a close eye on them. I check the undersides of the leaves every time I go in there.

I'm not sure if I like these rapid rooter plugs or not. I threw some popped seeds into them, but in a lot of the plugs the root had trouble penetrating it's medium. I feel like I prefer going straight into soil.

This would make a great dry/cure jar:

I took Reggaerican's advice and LST'd her today. The bottom growth wasn't going anywhere.

oh! you did it man i hope you have good results with that, just make sure she has a shit load of light
Will do. I was thinking about putting in all blue tubes for a week or so to see for myself the different growth rates between mixed-spectrum and singular spectrum. Just an idea, not sure if I'll proceed with it yet.

i would do it man just so you can see for yourself the difference, tests are always fun and hands on is the best way to learn...
