can you use molassassassas asasas mole ass's however the hell you spell it in a hydro res?
Bud candy, its somewhat more than molasses but I think thats one of the key ingredients. I've used it in my aerospring and not had a clogging problem.so im guessing that is not such a good idea....I was wondering the same thing
and if you dont know the benefit of Molasses then stop giving your opinionYou could use it. There is no benefit...but you could use it.
haven't had that prob but I have inline filters.err actually I've never used molasses but I have bud candyit clogs the sprayers but with the extra benefits it provides I just replace or clean them when necessary.

I've used AN and I've seen the results, get the fuck over it man.I think the last couple of posts need to realize the title of the thread. "can you use mollasas in a hydro resivior?"
The benefit of molasses is to the soil microbes...not the plant. Recent knowledge says plants CAN use their roots for small uptake of carbohydrates...but this is not what molasses is mainly used for. Molasses is a sugar that feeds soil microbes and gives you a healthy soil, not a healthy plant. I do know, some of, the benefits of molasses and don't claim to know everything. I am not giving my opinion, I'm giving to this forum what I know about molasses. Anyways, this is a forum I will give my opinion if I want. BTW, if you don't know the benefits don't give YOUR opinion....
and dbkick...you love overpriced nonsense huh?
You know, I looked at your grow and you were fucking proud of 17 grams wet for an entire plant, get the fuck out of here.I'm sure your pulling off 2 grams a watt too. And I bet your cannabis is much more potent than anybody who doesn't use AN. Congrats, your over-paying for your marijuana you grew.
Odd, the ads for sweet and bud candy have many similarities. Funny thing is I don't find much info or a label listing the specs for sweet but I do for bud candy. Oh and btw, I was dumb enough to buy bud candy because I use it to feed bennies in a bucket if you don't mind.JewGrow's post about molasses was accurate and relevant to this thread. Budcandy is garbage and a total waste of money as it only adds a hint of magnesium (http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/products/bud_candy/bud_candy_faq_nutrient_facts.php). It's not a substitute for molasses and if you're dumb enough to buy a product like that without knowing what it does, then you deserve to waste your money. Check out Sweet for hydro as even if you're not feeding the microbes, your plants can still use the good dose of magnesium and sulfur.
Is my link not correct? It looks like a magnesium supplement with some aminos. Over at ICmag, there was a test between molasses, bud candy and a juice with malt extract? The final results look identical to one another, IMO. I don't have an account over there, maybe someone can post that link? If you're feeding microbes with them, there are cheaper alternatives.Odd, the ads for sweet and bud candy have many similarities.
