Same shit happened to me the frist time around brotha, it sucks but you will move on to better things! Shit I bought the damn seed and went 2/2 male..

As far as the rockwool cube, I've used that methoed a few times with great results. I think you just need to water the actual rockwool too when your watering the soil so the roots don't dry up.. Sounds like you had other problems though..

I'm 2/2 with fem seeds so far both germed both turned female so I would have to recommend fem seeds at this point. I would also recommend a regular photoperiod strain that you can clone over an auto but thats just because I've had bad experience with auto's too!

Yes, i think the wet wool kept the soil too wet.. Not sure. for some reason the cup was not draining the excess water out of the cup to the bottom where I had four holes cut out of the 16 oz party cup. Maybe the wet wool kept the soil too moist?

Humm thats a wierd one.. I never had that problem but I guess anything can happen.. How often where you watering it?

hardly at all... 3 to 5 days on that cup... stayed wet. Who knows... I'l try again. I'm going to take these male plants and plant them in my neighbors flower bed... wouldn't that be a hoot. I wont, but how funny would it be for them to find a strange plant growing in their yard. ha.

best thing is experience and you got some of that at least! same happened to me on my first dwc attempt. regular femd seeds r the way to go imo

not trying to be rude, but regular fem seeds is misleading. regular seeds can be either male or female. fem seeds are 99% feminized (sometimes they are even male).

but your right, easy got some experience out of this, and hell you can keep growing them and mutilate them and fuck with them until you get something else going. an empty grow cab is the devils playground :fire:

i went back and reviewed the pics. some dont look like balls, so you may be still have one that could be possibly fem. dont get your hopes up too high, just be patient, enjoy the chance to torture your plants risk free!!! muhhahaha!!! do shit like super crop, or transplant into your hydro, WTF you ever wanted to do to a plant. something a lot of people have thought of trying, but would never risk a plant to do it. when life gives you lemons, make jaihouse lemon wine :D

I'm with gumz, do everything you ever wanted to those males until you get something else going. You've got nothing to lose and you'll gain so much first-hand experience! I thought about keeping Sammy but I would've shit a brick had she somehow impregnated one of my girls. Do it, you've go nothing to lose! Even post pics so we can still follow ya.

Too late my friends... I got the learning experience I wanted. I confirmed tonight they were both males. Found balls sacks on both. I destroyed them and I have already began soaking my UFO Sweet Grapefruit. Just going to do one during the holidays. Gets very busy so I'll only need to concentrate on one autofemm for now. I probably wont party cup 12/12 for now since my autofemm really should have more than just 12/12 light, imo.

So I leave you friends and end this journal with a tribute to my learning experience and my two little guys I grew from seedlings. They and all of you taught me well.
