Stealth Exhaust for Tent..Needed ASAP

Specs:
Tent - 36x20x62
Lights - 400 watt HPS
DWC

I was doing ok with temps when I have my tent door open when lights are on but I noticed the light is too suspicious at night, brightly shining through my window that overlooks the parking lot of the complex. With the tent closed the temps are 100, with it open I can get it to 85. So I need an exhaust system, one that is quiet and I need it ASAP.

I can't vent out the window, I will have to vent in the room where the tent is, but I can lower the central a/c. I need to order the fan today so it can be delivered by this week, any suggestions on a QUIET fan?

From my search I found this but before I buy I wanted to get some more opinions: http://www.hvacquick.com/products/residential/Bathroom-Ventilation/Remote-Fans-for-Bath/SP-TD-Series-Inline-Fans

Ok, I think I'm going to get the TD fan, can anyone tell me if the td-100 is good to exhaust the cool tube with my cab specs

It's fine but use it to PUSH the air through the cooltube ....NOT pull it.
This fan will be quieter: SYSTEMAIR RVK 100 ,more reliable and also give you more power.
Using Acoustic duct after the cooltube will lessen the noise.
You can also lower noise by placing a small (1/2-1M) bit before the fan too.

TIP: buying a fan bigger than needed means you can turn speed down reducing noise but still achieving the volume of exhaust air needed ;)
take a look at RVK 125..... WARNING GOING HIGHER THAN 125 RVK will mean the fan comes with a control capacitor attached... THESE BUZZZZZZZZZ IF SPEED LOWERED so if noise an issue stick to RVK 125 or below.

Thanks Hillcrest, I'm thinking about getting the td-125 it is only a couple bucks more. It is 5" and I'm not sure about reducers, are they easy to find in that size?

Yes very easy.... at the same place you buy your fan .... ebay..... most hydro shops.
Just incase you didn't get this ...
100 refers to 100MM...
125 refers to 125MM which happens to = 5" give or take ;) so already knew TD-125 was 5" :)

i have a window that faces the main road (in the city to) and there's always a light in it. been that way for several years. nobody has ever questioned me about it and if they do.. i'll just say its the bathroom.

moral of the story is. don't' be so paranoid.

Well, I am not the paranoid type, however, it is clear when you are in the parking lot of my complex that something is odd about my apt. The light is just wayyyy too bright. There are police who live here, it's very suburban, anything out of the ordinary will throw up a red flag. People around here won't hesitate to call the cops for any little thing, park in their space, have tv too loud, they are a bunch of douche bags.

Anyway...I'm about to pull the trigger and get the td125...but one last confirmation...would that be overkill in my cab? should I just get the 100x? i will be adding a carbon filter later. it's just those reducers for the td125 are a pain to find locally, and i'll save time and money with the 100x.

enjoy cheap and efficient my friend i have the same problem your having minus the heat just cant have the wonderful purple glow of LED's blasting out the window so a fan is a must =)

but how quiet is it? the price sounds good, but I don't mind paying a little more for a quieter fan. the soler fans seem to get good reviews on how quiet they are.

Nevermind, I just purchased the td-125 from iaqsource.com...great prices, check them out on ebay for free shipping. I need it asap so I paid a little extra for the shipping but was able to cop the reducers from them too. I'll post a review when I get it. Preciate all the help
