Switched the order today from the 6 400watt hps (generic brands) to 6 Lumatek switchable ballasts with yield master hoods...can run 400 or 600 hps or mh and debating which lights but probably the Lumatek high output hps lights

Well, figured I would update with some PICS!

Here is the progress and supplies so far. Soil is ordered (Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Fox Farm Happy Frog, Fafard B Mix, and Fafard Custom Mix) they will all be tested side by side for a few different variables. Other than that the only things I am still waiting for are the oscillating fans, mylar, and a couple duct reducers.

The final setup will have four very short tables on casters measuring 3.5' x 6'...the room is 8' x 14' and the floor is in the process (first coat in pics) of having a rubberized floor laid...One 8" Can Fan per three lights, one 8" Can Fan for exhaust and one 6" Can Fan for intake...all High Output models which will exhaust to the Ozone Generator and exit threw an 8" hole in the chimney. This is all for now.

The space I had to work with

Mother room is in the back left corner of the room in this pick

The mother/clone room (measures 5' by 4'...those square pots are 12" x 12" 4.75gallon)

Framed and rubber floor going in

Flower room

And the toys

In the next week the flower and mother room will be wired with a total of three new 20amp breakers, all the walls and ceiling will be insulated with R5 Styrofoam Board, and the tables, lights, and fans installed.

From my estimate with three gallon bags I have a max capacity of 200 plants in flowering at a time. This first run will have 100 plants.

Thoughts?

does og kush yield alot i heard not
The main critique I've got is your lighting. Instead of 6x400w, 4x600w would be much better. 600's are far more efficient if you're planning a space like that. I would go with the OG Kush for a SOG in that set up if I had to choose. It's a hardy Indica strain that grows short and squat with great yields for it's size. Relatively short flowering period, too. Sativa dom. strains aren't as favorable for SoG because they grow stretchier and take longer to flower.

Those are 600s.

Not straight away but I will have plenty of air coming in without it. I will show the setup in a few days when it is all set up. Down the road I may go with c02.

Thanks guys...went today and mulled over a few ideas with a friend...I think I am going to run one of my four tables as a flood table and use 3.75" net pots with hydroton or a grow rock medium...more details as this progresses.

i been growing on tables for years and hydroton rocks will work well for you but just makes a mess and sucks for clean up... rockwool cubes are so much cheaper and easier in the long run.. about the only thing to worry about is green algae, but easy enough to cover the cubes....

cherrs to you bro im so anxious for the next pics...

Rockwool was my first thought but the algae thing scares me...can you go more in detail of the bad effects and how to counter them dealing with rockwool? The other "grow rocks" as my hydro guy refers to them as apparently are much nicer to deal with than hydroton because they don't roll all over the place but are very similar (and about half the cost).

what kind of rocks are those @ 1/2 the price and dont roll all over sounds cool to me

yea i seen those lava grow rock on another thread they worked good for her.. as far as the bad effects in rockwoll all i can think of is algae..
and that really isnt even harmfull to your plants its just ugly and atracts pests.. all i do to prevent is cover with a small piece of panda plastic
