Anyone else have a problem with this plant producing hermmy flowers? 20 dallars per fem seed just to produce those little banana like pollen sacks the last few weeks of flowering.

i will never order from dutch passion again....

Yeap, both of my DP BB hermied on my last grow. It was late in flower and only got 10 seeds from 8 plants in the cabnet. I have Stawberry Cough and I have yet to germ them for that reason.

Here is a bud shot. You can see the nanners...I liked my LSD and Red Drgon better...:leaf:

same here too !!!!! i actually grow out a 10 pack of reg and a 5 pack of feminized !!!! and guess what ALL hermied to differing degrees !!!
almost all started produceing hermie flowers soon as they started producein buds !!!! very hard to spot them if your not actualy lookin daily !!!!

but all that been said i have done alot of research on blueberry and its naturaly prone to hermie !!! its actually rare to find out that dont hermie to some degree !! i had ones hermie but not produce pollen but the thc was crap !!! then i had one that i kept !!!! produces full pollen sacks BUT is so tastey so unique so crystaly that its worth bannna pickin daily !!! i think its sativa dom coz its tall and streachy looks and smells nothing like the others dont even smell like blueberry but some the best bud iv smoked !!!

even dj shorts hermie the same as dps hermie same with sagmantha s !!! from the hours and hours of readin iv done im come to the conclusan that this strain is predispossed to it !!!

Same here...DP Blueberry was pretty shitty. Weird growth in veg. So bad that I removed them from the garden before flowering.

But their Mazar was the truth!

Regular beans.

Any feminized seeds, from any breeder, does have a slightly higher chance of turning hermi than regular seeds. That is the risk/price that you accept when you purchase feminized seeds.

Some strains are naturally more prone to turning hermi and when you purchase those strains in feminized seeds the chance of occurrence of hermies increases. When you use such strains you need to be quadruply careful to not allow or cause any stresses of any type, from root-bound conditions to how they are fed to heat stress to light leaks and any and every other possible source of stress. You need optimal conditions from start to finish to avoid problems. Dutch Passion Blueberry is not a strain for beginners or growers with less than optimal setups or for lazy growers. Odd/unusual leaf growth/shapes are also common.

The same basic problems go with any Blueberry strain from any breeder, and to some extent any cross from any breeder that is a cross with Blueberry in it.

Blueberry is great to smoke but it can be more than just a bit finicky to grow and that is less the fault of any one breeder, or breeders, as in them not being proficient at creating and maintaining optimal conditions for growing their seed producing females of the actual creation of their strain or seeds, than it is the combination of strains that are needed to create the strain.

Somewhere in the lineage chain of strains that were over time combined and used to create Blueberry the hermi trait existed to a fairly dominant degree and has been passed on. It may have come from even just a single chosen phenotype that was used at some point, but wherever it began it has been passed on.

Somewhere in those lineage chains an unwanted hermi trait existed and it is one that was/is dominant enough to be passed on and remain dominant. Some Thai strains have been known to be hermi prone so if I were to place a bet on where it all began that is where my money would be placed, but again it might have been just a chosen phenotype that was not at the time known to be hermi prone or known to be hermi prone but believed to be of a low enough rate of turning that to get what was wanted from the phenotype it was seen as being worth the possible risk/costs of using it.

But that is only my personal assumption.

my suggestion is to spray her with Dutch master's reverse and penetrator (yes you HAVE to have both) so it won't produce its male flowers at the end of flowering cycle (they look like little bananas sticking outta the bud)
The bad new's is you are too far in to use reverse... you have to do it the first week of flowering

yes ive used it and got a hemi atm among my other beutifull 4.....its gonna b a biatch coz of space.........so ima have to isolate it and keep taking the sacks off &remain vigilant....& up the dutch masters reverse but ive seen miricles with reverse........ive seen hermaphradites that were already seeding and wasnt sprayed at the start of flowering......but 3 days later the seeds popd right off..not one or two but all of them.....but idk i think that strain might have sumthing to do with it..mind u i was groowing several diff strains......no more seeds were ever seen...from them at all..jus continued the foilar spraying...and i grew females right beside them...pretty close also...touching even...no seeds at all....never got femanized ...never infected them.......
