No temp issues at all with LEDs, I am running a sealed room. You have temperature issues or /and sealed room? That is the only reason to use co2 usually. I didnt realise
Don't use it under 80F,under 7500 lumens, above 50% RH, I'm not so sure how true this is. Most growers using co2 are under 80F and over 50%RH. Where did you learn this information?sorry think I got thread mixed up then. I was just getting somone else to stop using co2 as he was killing his crop lol For what it is worth he was using it with temps at around 78 which was pointless and lots of light is required. CO2 enrichment under 80°F, under 7500 lumens/sf, or above 50% humidity is not recommended. Im not sure LED gives that much lumens? How are you venting, exchanging the air?
Thank you very much for that info. I personally don't use CO2,but i agree, setup is the key in this situation. I was not aware of some of those factors.Experience and working with people far better than myself in the main.
CO2 has its place certainly, i don;t for one minute wish to contradict that (I said not recommended as oppose to DO NOT)but you really need everything dialled in 100% before even considering supplementing it with it. You have to have an excellent ventilation system in place so you can keep the CO2 levels up around 1500ppm. You also have to control heat in there too but still be able to exhaust the entire room, and then refill with Co2 on a regular basis. That takes timers, regulators, tanks, CO2 monitor and injector.
There are lots of good threads around...... here's one that seems useful: http://boards.cannabis.com/advanced-techniques/183121-co2-enrichment-guide.html
If you spend lots of time in the grow room then you be providing lots of co2 of course, 100 times the amount of fresh air so some people actually sleep in there lol

Nice!I have an air exchanger in my house so the air in the entire house exchanges every 60 minutes regardless.
I can't remember the exact day we are into flower but I think its around 5... I just smoked a fatty and I'm really baked!
co2 is on, plants were fed again today. I also dropped the lights to 6" off the canopy. everything is looking really good. I'm impressed!

This is nice to see...An Led room with prospects I like also that your using Co2, can you post a pic of your Co2 regulator, ppm distributer, and cannister, I'd like to see how you have this set up Do you pull in any fresh air and expel any used air...for healthy growth and to cut down on the chance of mould settling in? I myself have done a grow in the past with LED UFOs but ended up using a 150w CFL and a couple of T5's as suplementary lighting, I still pulled a nice 7.2 Oz from 2 plants but kinda wish I had done a pure LED grow just to see what was possible bud wise would you consider hydro/DWC pots or are you happy to stay with soil - if so why? I am doing my 1st soil grow at the moment and could really do with a hand I have lots of questions but I'll save them for another time if your cool to help? I am doing really well in Hydro but funnily enough have never grown in soil lol. Anyway REP for your efforts so far I hope this all goes to plan and look forward to seeing your results, Peace - STELTHY
I'm not sure it would hinder the grow that much but it would be wasting the money, time, and effort into using the CO2So i am a bit confused about all the words of caution towards Co2 supplementation. Plants use Co2 in all temperatures, and up to about five times more of it than nature generally provides. So what is the fuss with adding Co2 if everything is not perfect? Lets say the temps are low and the room leaks a little Co2(into a safe, non habituated area). So the intake of Co2 is reduced by the temps i imagine, and the fact that it is leaking means your needing to pump more in to stay in your range.
I don't see how doing the above in less than ideal situations would hinder a grow, i only imagine it would help. Maybe not to it's fullest potential, but help is help is it not?
