Granted I have not smoked every new strain out there but I do remember having a joint of Acapulco gold, the thickness of a matchstick and it getting me and 5 friends absolutely fried from one toke. The rumor that pot today is 20 times (or whatever X you like) greater than back in 1970 is pure BS. I smoked some dope back then that I literally tripped on, and I hasten to say that I did about 60 hits of acid back in the day, not to mention psilocybin and mescalin, so I know what tripping is all about. You have not lived til you've dropped a hit of acid, smoked a BUNCH of good pot, dropped a hit of psilocybin (mushrooms) then crush up and snort another hit of acid. Up until snorting the last hit of acid it was all great.

I remember getting some Acapulco Gold back in 1972.

2 Things I remember about it.

1st. It was a small lid (about 1 finger) gold in color and $20 (twice the regular price for a 4 finger lid).

2nd. I took 1 hit of a very small joint, I was instantly fucked up, my mouth went dry and my tongue swelled up.

I had never had any weed that good before.

I find it funny that youngsters like you believe the standard government propaganda line that weed today is too strong. You probably couldn't even take 1 full toke of some good Acapulco Gold or the original Maui Wowie without getting knocked on your ass. The strongest herb I have ever smoked was back in the late 70's to early 80's. The good stuff today is good, but not any better than the good stuff then.

Bubba Kush sucks balls. I have some; you want it? It's total shit compared to my Super Lemon Haze or Maui Wowi. I've already done smoke reports on all of them. For the record, this year I grew Bubba Kush, Power Kush, Hindu Kush, along with SLH, MW, the Church, and a bunch of 3 different autos. The SLH lasts for 6 hours; the kush maybe 2. I have very happy, creative thoughts on SLH, can't go to sleep at all on the BK and I have what almost be called nightmares every time I smoke it.
