UPDATE
I started adding cal mag and the plants grew noticeably. I don't know what's wrong with that seedling, the others in that same aerogarden are doing quite well. It was really hot here for the last couple of days, around 79-80, could that be the problem?
Looks like it could be heat stress. The Cal/Mag was a very good idea. You should look into some stuff called Silica Blast. its made buy the same people that make the Cal/Mag Plus. It will help the plant get through times when the temps go up. It is suppose to help plants become more resilient to adverse conditions. Look it up it's good stuff. IMO
Wow the super cali haze just shot up and is about 2 inches taller than the russian rocket fuel. How much longer do you think I have left till I can cut it down and harvest?
You got some time from what I can see. Your hairs haven't even started to retract yet. They should start to all curl in and change color. You should notice a big overall change in the plants color and appearance. When it gets close to being done.
Looking good though. keep it up your getting closer.
OK. What I do is count the days on the strains I know. The strains I have grown before. Like my Blue Streak. I know that it will finish in 65 to 70 days. So I know that on day 57 I need to start watching for the signs. Like 50% or more of the hairs have turned orange(not all strains go orange), and retracted inward. I also look at the trichromes. If I start to see them getting cloudy. I know I am 1 to 1 and a half weeks out and I start final flush. That's when the plant is just starting to make that color change that makes it look finished.
On the new strains I start watching at day 50. Most auto's are 9 to 10 week strains, and will finish somewhere in 60 to 75 day's. As I get them dialed in I get better at picking the day to start final flush.
Yeah, it takes 8-9 weeks for this strain.... and wow the super cali haze shot up about 3-5 inches and the pistils are turning white. I bought regular seeds and so far out of 2, 2 have been female! I'm 2 for 2!
Thanks! Here is another update, I hope the sup0er cali haze doesn't grow anymore cause I'm running our of hood room. The pistils are starting to change color, I figure in about a week I'll start flushing. But here is where I have a problem, I have 2 plants in the aerogarden, what do I do when I need to flush? Will the plant that is not ready for harvest be stunned?
The girls look great!!!How long are you going to flush for? She looks like she has at least 2-3 more weeks left. I am having the a similar problem as my two little ones are flowering and my Big girl is being stubborn and like you I have all 3 in the same container....you can bet I won't be making that mistake again. I am going with separate buckets next grow!!! Not sure how the one will do with no nutes for a week but I think she should be fine....
I'm thinking of flushing for a week. Yeah I'm excited to harvest!!! I've never grown before and can't believe they've survived! Thank god for auto flowering seeds haha. Yeah I was even thinking of sticking her into a gallon sized bottle of water with an air stone. I saw a video on yourtube of a guy who just used buckets of coffee or milk containers with air stones to grow nice looking buds, so I might flush her that way
My roots are turning brown, they are all bunched together. I read up on hydrogen peroxide, does it need to be a specific one or can I just get any at my local grocery store?
Do you have an extra air stone going and what are your water temps? You can use 3% hygrogen peroxide from your local grocer and I highly suggest getting some Hygrozyme...I mix in with my nutes for every feeding...it gets rid of dead root matter and makes a strong root system.
I have a 4 hole air pump, so I put 2 extra stones in each AG. Uhm, I have no clue what the water temps are, but it's sort of cool, not cold but not warm either. I might have to get that, this grow in turning expensive lol
Tell me about it!!! I think I am finally done spending!!!!I also have a 4 hole air pump and plan on putting 2 stones in each bucket for my next go...but in the long run it is still cheaper then buying that shit off the street!!!!
