SOG Sea of Green in a Big Room with lots of plants

your gonna HATE those chains... i know from experience. its such a pain in the ass to raise and lower your lights and when you first put your plants out to flower you WILL be moving them a lot and you gonna hate it.

how much have you spent on the room so far? including seed and what not

You are probably right about the chains but we will see...like i said my room height is only 6' 6'' so it's might not be too bad.

The total $$$ spent I am not exactly sure...I will guess around 5-7k but I really haven't kept track.

this is fuckin awesome dude. and as for the plant count, i say fuck the police! its always gonna depend on the cop knocking at your door whether he thinks your grow is out of control or not. i just leased another house to put 1000s of plants under 15000K+ lights in a SOG for my collective. im maxing out the 200 amp service and sleeping in the living room. i'd blow that room UP if i were you.

i run 36 plants per 1k. why the 600s? looks like you spent a pretty penny on this room man, good luck.

damn, sounds like a crazy setup you have dude. As for "why 600s", well Originally I was just going with 4 400s and things just kept getting bigger...in time with more space and different goals I may upgrade for now I should be content.

thanks bro. i really didnt mean to one up you or anything. your shit looks awesome. love the reflective walls, i think im gonna do this in my new rooms.

and yeah i understand its hard for people to believe that there are big grows out there, no need to call it an outrageous claim. people call me out all the time and shit gets irritating. i have a personal grow i post on most of the forums just because people start acting weird and act like assholes when you got more then them.

ill definitely keep checking in on your grow though man, cant wait to NOT be able to see the floor. lol.

No worries man...Glad you posted here. I know mine isn't the biggest or even close to it. A friend of mine has a setup that makes mine look like a closet grow (his is comparable to what you are talking about doing). He is in a commercial building with a bunch of 1k's all ebb and flow (he grows the tall guys though).

Anyway, as for not being able to see the floor...that will be damn accurate...the room is 8' x 14' and there will be 4 tables 3' 3'' x 6' 3'' making the overall combined total of the tables alone 6' 6'' x 12' 6'' leaving me 1.5' length wise and width wise in the room...the tables will be on wheels so I can always have 1.5' to walk between tables, other than that it will be bumper to bumper green.

ive also tried ces and did not like it that much. one product i did like was the mag amp but all it really is is epson salt(Magnesium chelate), and like 30 bucks a quart but it worked. i still have some left and whenever i have a sulfer def i use it. works great but i stopped using everything else they make, just didnt like it. recently i just got done using AN and now im going to try General Hydroponics lucas formula. i actually just started this GH today. as for AN im not to impressed, i had a couple def using the three part formula and had to compensate. where as looking at GH it is a much more complete fert as far as micro nutrients go. Where as with AN they want you to buy a hundred additives. I have high hopes for GH

The bulk of my stuff is going to use GH Maxi Bloom and GH Maxi Grow but I have GH Flora Nova Bloom and Grow as well as the CES stuff in the mail. (also have a few different additives to try like bud blood, overdrive, and floralicious)

Beautiful set up man. something i could only dream of! the only thing i have a question is about is how cool is your room with all the lights on and running? i know you said you did a run an it was 77 degrees but that was before you hung up your lights?
