No Digital camera ATM. Help if available please.

I'm experimenting with seeds and this is obviously a very novice grow.
I have no camera but have a webcam.
Trying to see if my plant is a "SHE".
I've looked at the post to determine sexes, but im unsure if the thin hair like studs on my plant are potruding branches or an indication of a female.

Please help, Thanks.

for about a week its still a fairly small plant, im just curious as to if im wasting time or not and move on to a new seedling

well if you have pistils comin out little hairs its a female and keep her goin if there is balls more than one its a male sometimes the pistils are big and appear to be balls at first until they pop and hairs come out

Sometimes patience is the key. Mine occassionally take 2-3 weeks to show their gender. Some have shown it while in veg' though so you never know.

A male is unmistakable after a short while anyway.

Alright thanks a bunch much love.
Hitting the bowl for you guys as we speak bongsmilie

Another thing i just checked up on my little ones, and they are random seeds, genetics is way different as you can tell.

One is very short still very bushy at the top only about 5 inches tall and smells really skunky already.

The other, is about 9 inches tall very bushy alot of true leaves, but no skunky smell.

This might sound rediculous but does smell have any indication on whether or not its got a vagina or a set of marbles?

In my experience there's no way of telling until it happens; I dread hermies more than males. Genetic variety from the same batch of seeds seems to be massive - I've had long, leggy females and short, bushy females from my batch of unknown Sativa seeds - which are all from the same plant. I also had a male which stank.

The first picture is the short and skunky plant, i brought it back looked as if it were on the fence then its starting to recover nicely again.

The other pictures are of the Taller one, both came from same batch. anyone obvious good/bads?

If we're throwing out bets here, then I'd put my money on them both being female :p.

Too early to really tell though. I love the plants that stay really low and bushy, they're so much easier to work with.

yeah doomah i actually was inspecting the taller one after work today and im seeing some "hair" like potrusions so thats a good sign.
How lucky am i.

Thanks for the help bro really appreciate it.
ill keep you updated as the weeks go along!

Ah nice one! Yeah, keep us posted mate :D.

I'm busy battling a horde of fungus gnats at the moment. Last week or two of flowering too. The spiders have set up camp just above my soil, it's actually fascinating to watch - I've created my own little ecosystem!

Should open up your own zoo of course the only one in attendance would be you lol.

Have any pics of the almost finished product? :]

Yep yep :D. Tried lots of things on the fungus gnats now and they keep reappearing (only a few though, usually no more than 5-10 at a time). So imma get some of those fly strips and just leave them to it. Even the bifenthrin insesticide I have didn't really do anything.

I'm keeping a watchful eye on this one for signs of male bits, seeings as a lot of my previous plants have hermied. I also have a feeling the emergency blanket around the room may be causing too many hot spots, but the lower foliage has definitely perked up since I put that in. Next time I'll cut all the lower branches for clones and have 4 main colas.

O yeah. I chopped off the lower branches last night, quick-dried and put the smallest buds in a bong. Very strange buzz actually; not felt anything quite like that before. Must be down to there being mostly clear/cloudy trichomes and no amber ones yet.

Any signs of gender on your plants yet?

They may be small but they look nice and green and healthy. Don't worry about the size yet - they'll reach a growth spurt and take off suddenly. I've had one plant grow over three inches in just 5 days! Shorter and bushy isn't so bad actually. Did you top it for multiple colas? If you have at least 4-5 nodes on them already and have not topped, you should check out this thread from a veteran grower here. Uncle Ben knows his stuff!
