Right, which is incorrect. Plant have a limited ability to pull up sugar from the soil, probably because they make their own during photosynthesis.no, what i said is the plant feeds off the sugar,
Off topic:ya and if we suplement it then they dont need to make their own and can do work on other things it needs. every single carb on the market is sugar or molasses based but they are all wrong????...sorry we are all wrong...
Ahhh, I was always wondering why hydro grows are faster and bigger. I never really looked into it but was always curious, thank you!!no. cause the food is available faster as there is no medium. we dont use organics in hydro and in soil using organics the food must be cenverted beofre the plant can uptake it. thius is why organics are slower. we use sythetics in hydro and has already been made into a food form.
in hydro there is no medium to support microbial life so using molasses or others is a waste and usulay just clogs lines anywas.
What? First of all, those sugary sweet nutes out there either contain essential elements or feed the microbes, or both. Those of you who don't understand a little bit about how plants work probably use those additives to 'sweeten' your product or 'lighten the work load for the plant so it can do other things'. Regardless of what you've been told, sugars feed to soil/microbes, not the plant.ya and if we suplement it then they dont need to make their own and can do work on other things it needs. every single carb on the market is sugar or molasses based but they are all wrong????...sorry we are all wrong...
Well my info is coming from a professor of horticulture and crop science at the local university with 25 years of research and a doctorate in the field. Your source is who again? If you and your coworker are still confused, this is a good read on sugars, NPK values of molasses and other related topics.oh, well according to the bio chemist that does our recipes its more than that,.ill stick to his info.
each sugr source does a diff job. 1 we use is triacantonal, this one helps stimulate flowering hormones.,it stimulates phtosythesus, increase chlorophyll content,. increase in cell density, increase in co2 assimilation. theres more but could go on for a bit here.
right on man very informative I have 1 lady in dirt going to try a tea if I can get some guano... another? is there anyway I can add it to my dwc setup or any need to? ok found bat guano online can I make a tea and use the guano in my dwc? Here's some info--> http://www.gardenscure.com/420/organics/95401-molasses-sweet-organic-goodness.html
It's good to use molasses anytime if you're using organic soil.
