I just wanted to post some pictures of my friends sprout 10 days later..
He's using 4x 75 watt CFLs.. 2x 2800k, and 2x 6500k
So far the smallest one died, and 2 remain..
The first one to sprout actually hasnt done anything much, since.. It has grown 2-3 times bigger in size, but seems to of stopped growing new sets of leafs..
There are signs of new branches between the nodes, but hasnt done anything in a week or so..
Still only on its 4th set of true leaves, and almost 4 weeks now..
Green, and looks like it has recovered ok..
Its just weird that this one stopped growing new growth, and decided to bulk up (or so it seems) before making more sets..
This pic is 10 days old.. He didnt get any new ones since it hasnt done much but grow bigger in size
This next one is only one left, and was about a week or so behind the one above.. This is 10 days ago
This one has stayed very small, but has grown like mad..
Its was one set of leaves behind the first plant pic, and now has blasted by the first one..
Going on its 7th set of leaves, and already starting to branch out from all 5-6 lower nodes..
Still ONLY 2 inches tall at best, its so weird..
We happy with the total lack of stretching, but wondering if it will "size" up, and get more closer to the size it should of been if it had been started in proper mix..
Check out this minimonster! Here it is 10 days later
Never been topped, as its only 2 inches high..
But here are the new branches forming in the lower nodes!
The very bottom of this, if you cant tell was yellow from high pH soil mix.. Was transplanted days after it came up, and as soon as it was discovered..
This is a nice shot of the baby leaves, and first true leaves..
Can also see where the new branch is growing from the yellowed first node, and same with the 2nd node.
However they are growing in much better then the first..
Here is a nice pic of the whole tiny monster
That 1 you see next to the leaf, is one inch on a ruler.. So it looks like it is maybe 1.5-2 inches max...LOL
Its a little tank though.. Plans are (IF this is female) to make it a mother..
My friend was going to (on the first needed, and able "topping") to clone that, and then veg, and force flower the clone to see if this female...
Heard it was best method, in order not to stress out the plant any more then it needs to be..
This was just bag seed from a really good batch of kind a while back..
Heard force flowering can stress out plants, and since we need a mother, and need her to live long, and healthy...
Thought force flowering might not be a good idea..
Incase it IS a female..
In which case we want to get as many clones as we can as fast as we can, and not flower her..
If this IS female Im glad it will, or is looking to be a very bushy plant..
Need all the clones we can get ASAP if we want to get a nice first harvest..
Any suggestions or thoughts?
