Ok so got a couple of bagseed from some thai i just sampled, but what i dont know is how to grow it?!

Is it the same method as you would with normal budding plants? I.e veg for a few weeks then put it on 12/12? How long do they take to grow from seed to harvest if they root well obviously? Can you get male thai weed plants?

Any info from the best growers would be appriciated!

thai weed is just like all other weed. It will grow the same, the seeds will produce males and females just like all mj. You will grow it and treat it just like any other type that you would grow. Thai weed, from my recollection is mostly sativa, so it will probably grow tall and lanky and would have a longer flowering time than most hybrids.

Yeah most likely it will be a sativa and have a "spicy" smell. Germinate it, veg on 18/6 and then flower on 12/12 . Should take about 8 weeks of flowering to finish :bigjoint:

8 weeks? where do you get that info? most sativa's take a LOT longer to finish. I would guestimate almost double that amount of time.

I agrre,if it's real, pure Thai it will take 14-16 weeks. It may not start flowering right after changing to 12/12 either. As long as those seeds weren't produced from a hermaphrodite you will get male & females.Thai is notorious for hermieing late in flowering though.

I got some Thai seed as freebies. They are sativa for sure. At week five they have little popcorn buds and had to LST a lot of branches back because it wanted to get tall. For an indoor grow I was thinking of screw this as I can tell it is going to take a very long time, but the wife wants to try a sativa for her pain. I have four going right now along with some beef steak tomatoes. I expect some tomatoes around Feb. and I am pretty sure those Thai plants will still be chugging along.

I'm growing full moon right now which is a Thai weed, and the flowering time is 12 -14 weeks according the Nirvanas web site. If you are not sure just use a 30X scope and go by the Trichomes, I think the scope is the better way go! Good Luck

Sorry for putting only 8 weeks never grown a Thai but have done a bunch of Sativas, for me it usually takes around 8 weeks for some reason (think its the bushmaster I use). Anyways just check the trichomes to see when its really done sorry 'bout that :bigjoint:

no harm done. You have just been lucky with your sativas. I have seen a few that thru special breeding have gotten their times down into the 8-10 time. But those are the exception. Besides, anybody that harvests strictly on a time line and not by observation deserves what they get anyway... :bigjoint:

If you like the sativas just get a hybrid that leans more sativa that way you can have the sativa type of relief with the growth speed of the indica. Hazes are hybrids, the blueberry depends on the breeder one is indica and one is sativa.

cheech and chong are the best. ya thai stick, or whatever thai you have is a pure sativa, itll take sooo long. well if you lemon haze is just lemon skunk x haze, id say about 9-10 weeks. the blueberry is mostly indica, and will take about 8 weeks.
