Lowryder 2, 250w HPS grow

not at all, i went wrong and gave mine full dose of Foxfarm Grow Big at 3 weeks old and that almost killed it. Then after she recovered it went about 4-5 days w/o sunlight cause of some tech probs...soo yeah they are fairly residulant lol. hopefully will be getting a better camera this black friday. the plant is looking excelent

Looks great, especially considering the rough start. Hard to tell from the pics, but she looks like she's finishing pretty fast. My Easy Ryders took like 10 weeks.

wells things are looking great, bad news tho...i set the plant to close to the light and it burn alot of the top most buds a little
other then that, the plant looks great. I trimmed 1 of the buds (its the smallest of the outer 4 big buds) today and was wondering if doing so it would allow for more growth? the last 3 pics are the trimmed 1.

also i have some AK47 x Lowryder 2 *(Easy Ryders) going, u can see them in some of the pics. They are doing great, cept the LR2 is hoggin all the light atm

any idea's on the trimmed bud? also i was wondering, when should i trim the whole plant, before harvest? or after?

I trim immediately after. I cut off one branch at a time and trim it up then hang it. If you cut the whole plant and lay it down, the leaves tend to stick to the bud and make it harder to trim. You don't have to do the entire plant all at once either. If you think certain parts of the plant can use a few more days you can just cut off the branches that look ready. If it were me, I'd give it 5-7 more days though.

Just curious, what are the temps in your room like? Even with the few issues, that's still one hell of an auto plant IMO. What's the odor like?

omg the oder is so effing bad lol, its in a closet*(door shut) in a room (door shut) and when i open the door to walk in the house i can still smell it like crazy..i havnt smoked in my house for about 3 weeks also so its the entire plant. Idk the room temp exactly but id say 75, its a big closet.
the plant has been on the 24/0 sched its entire life also. but yeah i plan on harvesting saturday but if it looks like it can use more time ill prob wait 1-2 days.

Day 57,
ended up trimming most of the plant because the 1 bud that i trimmed yesterday responded very well and seems to have alot more tich.(also i decided to clip that 1 today because i need something to smoke Tuesday for the release of World of Warcraft Cataclysm)
prob won't post pics again until day 60 for harvest, Enjoy

well guys good news! putting the buds into jars tomarrow for the curing process. Does curing increase potency, and will it improve the harshness as well?

hey i have been reading through your journal and i am amazed, your grow looks great wish i could join you lol!! I am thinking about starting up my own low ryder diesel grow with a similar set up,i am currently using a dark room grow tent 60cm x 60cm x 140cm, with a 250w hps, i use a fan and keep the tent door open for a good airflow have had no problems so far with my current grow and they are in the late flowering stages (will start thread and upload everything i have done in my current grown soon) I use biobizz bio-grow and bio-bloom, if you have any advice on my setup regarding growing low ryder i would really appreciate it thanks

nice harvest man. if you cut it and let it hang for 2 days then jars you might have mold problems. i would recomend letting em dry a tad more. did the stems snap or bend?

unfortunately i am paying for my mistake of putting the plant to close to the light...it burnt alot of my buds:/

(the smoke is still very harsh cause its not cured properly but it sure does knock you on ur butt)

not sure exactly, my scale has been broke for some time...might have to end up buying a new 1...but yeah, what do you guys think about Auto Assassin and White Dwarf? has any1 grown them, basically im looking for some strong auto's... I was going to go with the Super Cali Haze but the grow is to long for me
