I know that shrooms and acid won't show up and i was wondering what other drugs won't show up. I heard they don't test for xanax but im not sure i want to risk it.
What do probation drug test for?

must be differnt in differnt places, mine were allways sent off to lab.. I was even special test subject for pupil scan drug tests... I dont think they ever started using them though..

ok well it was this new thing they were trying to use, so it works like this (suposedly) when you do any drug even after the drug left your system it leave small changes in you pupil dilation for up to 3 months, so they piss test you and scan your eyes the first day, if your piss comes up clean you pupil should match next time you come in and piss clean eventually they have a picture of you with clean eyes (confirmed with piss test) after they have this picture of your eyes you no longer have to piss test just have your eyes match the control picture.
Now a loop hole which may be the reason they dont use them. if your dirty when they take the pic of your eyes but you manage to piss clean (piss cleaner or something) they then think your clean when your not, so then you have to keep up drug use inorder to keep your eyes matching.. thats how I passed.... smarter than the average bear..
you have to keep up same drug use though each drug alter your pupil just slightly different so you can only take what you were on or had been on in the last three months... when they took the control picture...and this even applied to three day drugs like H and coke

Benzo's, Opiates (codiene, Morphine, Heroin NOT oxycodone or hydrocodone), THC, Barbiturates, and amphetamines. That's on the standard 5-panel. There are also 10-panel and 15-panel that include other drugs but they aren't usually given out for probation. No tryptamines or phenylethylamines (common psychedelics) will show up except for ecstasy pills which are usually cut with amphetamines which will cause you to test positive.

Cocaine and alcohol have a very short half life so they are not usually tested in regular drug screening unless the PO is aware of your use of them and orders special testing for it.

Your right just rechecked cocaine is tested for, alcohol is not though. Sorry haven't had to take one in about 6 months.

I knew a few people that failed for alcohol because they would drink beer so they could pee for the piss test. sound theory if your sure there not gonna test you for booze...... one time a guy was drinking a fourty in the waiting room didn't even let him pee, in my state alcohol is prohibited on probation as well not sure if other states are like this

Yeah alcohol still counts for violation but it's half life is I think if I remember correctly 7 hours so within 14 hours it's completely out of your system from your last drink no matter how strong the proof is. This is information I got from my health department Intensive Outpatient classes so take it with a cup of sugar. I feel your pain, I was on for 2 years as well they just try to get all the money they can out of you by charging you with ridiculous fines and charges for being on it
. One point I was like "you know what jail doesn't seem that bad, at lest instead of me paying for the state to fuck me over they'll be paying for me to get fucked." But I still retain my anal virginity so it's all good. Just takes a little self control and a good hobby to keep ya occupied.

yeah i was clean till they let me mail in my po vistit sheets lol what were they thinking??? hahaha, I had no problem staying clean from drugs while i was on probation i turned to my other vice, women.. clean non hooker types though lol
