you are NOT doing anything right.
that is THE worst looking brown rice flour cake i have EVER seen!!!!
get rid of the cake. get educated. then try growing again. WITH A NEW CAKE.
if you want mushrooms...take OUR advice!!!!!!
you NEVER want water droplets that big on your cake.
you need a FINE misting bottle. finest as possible.
you need FRESH AIR EXCHANGE and a better terrarium.
seems like you got everything right until fruiting.
once you see that goo or CONTAMINATION from your last post.
that cake needs to be LONG gone.

You mist it then fan alot to evap those water droplets. Keep your humidity at 95%+

yeah, no offense op but chuck your cakes. sterilize your whole house. build a glovebox. buy a sterile spore syringe. Then start over. Youtube lets grow mushrooms

man you guys know I love ya'll and shit but you guys are kinda fucked up... I mean every one was a noob at it at one point and those lets grow mushrooms videos aren't like the bible of mushrooms facts even some shit in those video's is out dated.... There ok for noobs just getting started but after one grow you shouldn't even need those videos, there is better information out there....
that being said that cake is toooo wet homie its likely going to contam..... you should get some reptile humidity/temp guages and monitor the rh in your fruiting chamber, DONT SPRAY RIGHT AT MUSHROOMS... and dont allow droplets to fall from lid onto mushrooms.... more fresh air exchange would probably kept water from building up and would have initiated more pins...

and those videos we are telling him to watch....i GUARENTEE he is missing at least 4-5 steps in those videos.

I'm curious what parts of the let's grow mushrooms videos are outdated? There are plenty of outdated videos online that say things like you should colonize at 86deg and that incubation needs to be in complete darkness, but that DVD has none of that outdated info... Actually it probably has the best and most straightforward info of any video out there. So please, I'm dying to know what's outdated about the info in that DVD?

roger rabbit is a dumbarse in it for the money and his dvd's are crap, I dont have to explain it if you want to belive he is the god of all things mushroom than so be it, and there are plent of times on shroomery were RR or road kill contradict them selves you can search rrs threads and see he is really just about selling his dvd's....
and like i said there are alot of better shroom gods out there even on shroomery your rr is just like the walmart of shrooms guys all about the profit his 40 dollar dvds aren't worth the time it takes to watch them..

i just so happen to watch these videos on youtube FOR FREE
rogerrabbit made these videos and look how many people made successful PF tek grows from them.
he just so happens to be one of the only ones that offer a DECENT video online for us hands on learners.
he isnt a mushroom king or god.
i dont care if he is trying to make money, his videos are simple and informative for the BASICS of growing mushrooms using the PF TEK.
and the guy who started THIS thread doesnt know shit about the basics and NEEDS to learn them to get further into a successful fruiting stage.

I figured you wouldnt respond with any outdated info from those dvds... beacuse you cant find it... You have nothing but mean words to back you. Not only does he describe basic begginer procedures, but he also gets into advanced techniques in the dvd. So he's a dumbarse for trying to sell dvds that he put his time, knowledge, and money into? Yeah its really lame to work for a living, huh? He has over 20,000+ posts at the shroomery helping people out and spending the time to explain things in detail, rarely does he ever mention his dvd. So until DarthD3VL comes out with his dvd thats even better, that is the best place to reference people.
