Piranha Beneficial Fungi

WOW! What a write up!

Mycorrhizae occur naturally in the soil and AN makes it sound like they invented the stuff. LOL

For much cheaper and a place that's been around since 1985 or so, check out Fungi Perfecti.

It's good stuff to be sure, but you only need to inoculate your roots once and don't need to over pay. Organic gardeners have been using it for years.

I use the MycoGrow Soluble. ~$8 delivered and treats 150-250 plants.

Alright thanks for the link and response. I was looking for how it works against gray mold and mildew. For the late season rain. Like you said for a write up like that I figured it might be good or maybe just good advertisement.

It colonizes the roots. Makes the plant stronger and helps with the uptake of nutes, but for mold, a silica suppliment like Pro-Tekt will work much better.

Umm yeah if they are claiming myco's prevent mold and mildew and should be applied via a foliar they are full of shit. Never believe ANYTHING that AN puts up, they are the biggest scammers on the planet and their products are a fucking joke.

You still should get some myco's and BB for your grow. Just not the overpriced AN stuff.

I've used piranha and tarantula and voodoo juice a bit in the past - they are nothing special IMO. AN products do work, don't get me wrong on that point. They just are insanely expensive and they tend make wild outlandish claims about how well they really work. You can often find the exact same thing for much less money if you look around. I'm getting better results with the mycro products and home brewed tea I am using now and it literally costs me less than 1% of what AN charges for their stuff.

It's not the myco's that will fight the grey mold etc., it's the beneficial bacteria species that are in the product. Myco's work in the rootzone, the bacteria do also, but when used as a foliar spray the bacteria will work against bud mold (indoors anyhow, not sure how well that'd work outdoors).

Many products are cheap in price. But it doesn't mean they are good. Piranha specially designed with many beneficial fungi for better root size and function for better production. They offer money back guarantee.

Yeah, this stuff must be awesome, look what the department of agriculture has to say about this particular product.

This is what AN label claims

Pseudomonas spp 125,000 cfu/ml
Trichoderma spp 55,500,000 cfu/ml

This is what the department of agriculture found when testing

Pseudomonas spp Not Detected
Trichoderma spp Not Detected

I always figured most nutrient companies were huge scammers.. the price of most of this stuff is absolutely ridiculous and on top of it they sell you a 150 dollar bottle of water. It's organic alright :)
