Well, title says it all. Pics a little dark, sorry. The seed was just found while loading a bowl of my remaining WhiteWidow. I LOVE WhiteWidow, almost as much as WhiteRussian. Anyway, the plant was grown from clone, with three other clones. My only idea is maybe a hermie? Regardless, I figure I really have nothing to lose so I took these pics and dropped it into a shotglass of water. Here we go, and hope for the best!

Yeah it looks immature, did you give it a squeeze before you dropped in the water?

I'll be positive though, a fine mother she will be! :D

Yes, I gave her(cause I'm thinking positively) a light squeeze and no crack. I was afraid to sqeeze too hard!

I say it's too immature...but good luck! I would however suggest the paper towel method to germ it...
Yes, 24-48 hours in a shotglass of water and then straight into a papertowel and rubbermaid to a warm dark place. I'm hoping for the best, but expecting nothing. Wish I could find decent WhiteRussian seeds without paying $200 for 10 seeds.

with the lighting in the pictures you can't tell if it's immature or not. You also can't go by coloring either. I used to think that size and color of the seed mattered. But the lest several times I have bought seeds from the Attitude they have been the tiniest, palest, sickly looking seeds I have ever seen. Most lighter in color than this one pictured even, some almost white. Yet every one sprouted into fine healthy plants. I no longer judge seeds on color and size since then.

I'm not sure if I'd keep a seed from a herm'd plant as a mother. I hope it works out for you though. It doesn't look too bad, a little pale, but it looks strong (as strong as a seed could look in a picture I guess). Keep us updated.

I'm torn on whether it's hermy or not. No other signs on the plant when harvested. Kind of wondering about an article I read that said if a female plant reaches maturity and has not been pollinated, she will sometimes produce her own seed, 1 or 2, to try to keep her genetics alive.?

I gave her a gentle sqeeze without a crack before dropping her into the water. I was afraid to sqeeze too hard though.
