hi there I am wondering if it is ok for 2-3 caregivers to maxx out at 72 plants a piece I have a 3000 sq ft basement where 3 caregivers could grow comfy with lots of room and I cant get the same answer from anyone???? hellpppp!!

If the feds find out there is a large number of plants in one place, they might raid first and ask questions later...then good luck getting your plants and equipment back. You don't want to paint a bulls-eye on your back.

help guys anybody know what the limit to caregivers in a home is before need to move to move from a living space into commercial building

Really depends on the city as they are the ones setting limits and definitions. example ( and I know this has changed ) Ann Arbor was only going to allow 1 caregiver per home but they changed it, now I believe ( and I'm probably wrong ) they say up to 4 caregivers per home, after that you are considered a collective and need to get permits and such.
As beagle mentioned though, you start getting high plant numbers in one place and the fed isnt going to care if your a patient / caregiver or not since its still federally illegal and anything over 99 plants carries mandatory sentences / fines it is like and easy win / free money for them so take that into consideration and stay safe!

question how would anyone find out that two caregivers are using one household unless they came to your house and looked . On the paperwork it does not ask the plants location it only asks what your address is so I am a bit lost here because i am trying to max out two caregivers in one place so the max in the rooms are 144 plants any ideas or info?

hopefully nobody will find out but if the feds come look and u got more than 99 in the house theyre gonna take it all. my friend recently got in trouble bring some meds across state lines they raided his home with med grow and left it alone there were aprox 20 flowerring and 30 veging

You can co-op but need to have seperate rooms and only access is to each giver. You could have 50 as it would not matter as long as they are kept apart from each other. If each had there own room that's locked then you'd be fine. Let me say this,,,, that's state wise, fed wise anything over 100 plants gets ya a 10 min so be dam careful. Husband and wife would be ok and need not be seperate as long as each is there mates caregiver. With that you'd be helping them help their patients and be covered under current law as I read it.Hope this helps.

where did you get info about separate rooms i heard plants just need to be marked and i thought there was a limit b4 you need to go commercial building

You can have a house full of plants with no place to sleep if your plant count total is still within your limits. If you have a landlord, he/she may not want you to at all so that would be the major boundary. You might not get "busted" but more likely evicted if that's the case.

we own the house and it is patient wise me, my grams,my dad,my brother and my mom. my mom is caregiver for dad and brother ans i have 3000sq ft. basement so I have the room to work with with no problems but I want to keep it legal

Michigan Department of health has stated that the intention of the law is allow caregivers to work togather, but they warned that having over 99 could get you in trouble with the DEA...really i wouldnt worry about it..its legal here in michigan but not federally just like the rest of the medical marijuana system..if your low key, don't sell, and legitly medical really I dont think theres a whole lot to worry about so long as you stay in state guidelines should your house catch on fire or something.
