Hello guys I'm currently in progress on building my veg room so I can harvest much faster. It is going to be double layered with T5 florescent lighting at 6500k. I will have an ebb and flow system should be getting all the parts tomorrow. Im going with 2 2'x4' flood tray and a 70 gal res to feed to both trays. The reservoir will hopefully fit under the table. As for now got most of the construction done.

My question is what kind of ventilation should I do? And let me know if you guys think I should do anything differently I love to hear other peoples input.

Also Is that the right size reservoir for two 2'x4' flood trays?

i use a 15 gal resi for my 2x4 tray. and i have my 2x4 tray filled with 36 5'' net pots filled with hydroton. it really depends on how you have your tray filled and and how often you want to top off your resi. I add probly 2 gal every 3 days.

Shit well I just bought the resi today so ill just fill it to about half then. Do you think just 2 oscillating fans would work well enough for ventilation in this room?

you need exhaust fan, oscilating fans don't remove heat just turn air around. i dont even use oscilating, but exhaust is a must

yes plants need fresh CO2 to grow, you need to exchange air in your grow 2-3x per minute

calculate your cubic feet get an exhaust fan rated for 2-3x cfm mount it on highest point in room where you can dump air outside. you also need to make a hole for passive intake from a ttotally different place than where your dumping the hot air

proper air movement around plants is needed plants dont have lungs to inhale co2 pluss the brease from a fan with help make stronger stocks

if you leave your flaps open when lights on will be enough for co2 and lights off close them up sence plants dont need co2 when its night

exhaust fan creates a breeze especialy if the gorw area is shrunk to just the right size

bullshit, you need to exchange air 2-3 times per minute, flaps can't do that.
