no nutes yet. they are just 3 weeks old. i could use some nutes at a low strength but the only problem is around here about the only place to buy nutes is lowes and it seems like they REALLY love miracle grow. its like all they carry around here. would it be ok to use MG tomatoe food?

That plant looks awesome bro. (no worries, you can post pics anytime)
I think ill try the MG out just probably at half or maybe even quarter strength
And i know ill have to get a pH meter soon!!!

Hell no,
I got hard water so that will bite me in the ass.
I use bottled water and rain water :D

I guess the bottled water is what makes it grow so good without any pH problems.

Thats what i started doing. i was letting my tap water sit out for a couple days before i used it but im pretty sure it still wasnt good for them...

so the plants are doing about the same. the very bottom leaves are turning brown. ive GOT to get a pH meter tonight!

but one of my plants leaves have started pointing upwards. Anyone know what would cause this??

I finally got some pH drops for now. My tap water was over 8 so i bought some distilled water and once i put in my nutes it was right at 6.4. Hopefully fixing the pH and mixing in nutes at 1/4 strength will perk these babies up... more pics soon

its week 4. the plants are looking better considering some of the things theyve been through. started to LST the two of the taller plants, and the other two are actually staying very bushy so far. and they all look alot bettter in these bigger pots

any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated bongsmilie

Looking great bro!
Like i said, i cant believe they are looking this good after some of the stress theyve got recently. One had a fan fall on top of it, my power went out one day and the temperature changed 30 degrees in one day, and of course all the bottom leaves were dying not too long ago (Ive left the brown leaves on for now so i can make sure they arent changing anymore, and so far i havent seen them get any worse)...

Im thinking about switching to flowering in another week or so, just gonna see how they grow and decide from there.

Ive decided that I will be switching to flowering Tuesday. They will be 5 weeks then. Ive done some serious LST to two of them and they are loving it so far.

Ill try to get more pics soon.

so i jumped the gun and switched to flowering 2 days ago lol. i guess i got a little too impatient. these pics are of a couple days ago and im really proud of these "ladies"

let me know what you guys think!
