So the title rings true...
I've since harvested, dried and cured this baby.
I let it dry for roughly 3 days. The room I dried in was the same I grew in. I controlled temp with a small heater fan and a humidifier on a timer. I monitored with a remote hygrometer/thermometer and kept things at 65-70 degrees and 50-55% humidity.
I cut everything down to manageable nugs once the buds were crispy on the outside but the stems would bend but not shatter. Then it all went into glass canning jars. For two weeks I opened them for roughly 1-2 hours a day, pulled out the buds and repackaged them every other day just so they wouldn't get compressed and stagnant.
Despite this the plant produced hard to smoke bud. It burns black and only produces a "meh" high. Nothing close to a $200 an ounce herb I was told I was growing.
I'm torn on what to assume here. It was my first grow and I'm thinking I fucked something up though I'm not sure exactly what. On the other hand I have no clue on the genetics of this plant so maybe thats the messed up part.
Only way to learn more is to try again...
