co2 need help

hello family been spending money as if theres no tomarrow. one question, is a co2 worth the money in a 4x4 tent ? will it help me get bigger buds and help the plant grow? i'm planning to do 20 -25 sexy ladies in a ebb& flow under two 600 hps blockbusters.

If you are doing 2 600 watts in one 4x4 tent then co2 will do absolutely no good unless your lights are cooled separate from your tent. You will just be sucking out all the co2 in no time trying to cool that much light in that little area.

I'd happily put one 600 in a 4x4 tent. Two seems overkill to me. Is there a/c in the tent? It needs a cooltube to draw air across the light. The tent needs to be sealed to utilize the co2.

replacing the 1000 with 2 600s. just my style. The neverending debate of it,lol. Also those blockbusters might just be the best hood on the market. The biggest concern i have is heat, but if you have it figured out than so be it. as far as the co2, it will difinitely help. As mentioned earlier, making sure the tent is sealed and lights on there own air duct. i would say at least a 10 to 20 percent better, mostly on the trichome production, good luck

You need a sealed environment for C02. You have to pull outside air into your SEALED cool hood and back out if not as the dude above siad you will just be pulling out your C02 ..

This is pretty true I have a 5' x 6' wide x 8' high room and I have a 1000W HPS with a cool hood and I'm pretty sure I can fit 2 in the room but then you need ducting and fans to keep the room cool and even a portable AC heat is going to be your biggest problem I have 675 CFM max fan pulling air through my 1000W HPS and the temps stay around 78-80 degrees...

only a 740 cfm for both lights and a can filter is a bit much not sure the filter will do the best job or the lights might not stay that cool. I run 2 600w HPS thru 6" cooltubes with a 740cfm fan and it does a pretty good job for sure but adding a can filter on top of that will limit CFM flow to the lights significantly and increase temps in your room dramatically. I would put the carbon filter on a separate 300cfm or so fan. My room is 8x8 thus why I worry about your heat without better ventilation. Also I run a 4x4 veg room and theres no way you can seal it up completely and not have a heat issues unless you run A/C.

Run 740cfm fan for the lights and a 300ish cfm fan for filter on separate ducting. If you decide to run Co2 you will have to put everything on timers and the heat in the tent might be too much not sure you would have to test it.

if you can hold temps and make aircooled hoods seperate from room, being perfectly sealed then yes CO2 will benefit. actually you would need more lumens per foot to benefit from CO2 and higher temps so IMO don't use both light in that space except if you add CO2, or add space and plants, then vent your room well and skip CO2, thats what i would do.

Pretty much spot on .. I dont think a 740 CFM can fan will be able to cool both lights and get your scrubber to work properly. And yes you might need a portable AC I run a 9,000 BTU and yes do a test run this is what I did and I had to not use the 1000W MH had to go to a T5 .

ok i will give it a try. i'm trying to save a buck by putting two 600 hps in the tent and not the 1000. if anything, i will skip the co2 . i also have two four inch fans from my other grow, they ard 180 cfm each. i want to try to use all the stuf i have and not let it just sit in the corner.oder is the number 1 thing on my list because these girls will tell you when they are ready lol

Good luck dude because a 6'' 430 CFM can fan did not cool my 1000W HPS do the desired temp. Thats why I had to get a 8'' 675 CFM Max fan. My grow room is 6' x 4' x 8' high..
