So pics speak a thousand word and im sure you can all see the problem.

Shes a thai x super skunk about 6 weeks or 1/2 way through flowering and lookit the weird skinny buds!

I got another of these in flowering at the same time and she has large fluffy white buds like fuckking foxtails. Yet this bitch has come out like a pine tree. Weirdly trichome development doesnt seem to have been affected at all.

So is it going to get any better or shall i just cut it and make butter?

I've never seen buds like these before.

BTW temps are 25c daytime 15 night, theres constant airflow around all the plants and despite these pics being taken under a cfl im flowering under a 600w HPS.

These super thais have actually grown a couple of inches past the light but I have them well within 15 inches of its corona.

check the pics.

It's probably just a little behind. I wouldn't chop it unless it has an issue like it's a hermie. Ride it out and see what happens. Best of luck my friend.:weed:

It looks to me like the Thai traits are super strong in this plant. If seed started, most likely it's like the movie Twins w/ Arnie and Danny Devito.

One's a strong genetic specimen and the other, not so much. This can happen with seed sources that haven't stabilized their hybrids.

You may find a similarly named hybrid from two different seed shops. One source might have strong, genetically similar "brothers and sisters" , while another seed shops version of that hybrid strain might have vastly different examples.

It kinda looks like the stuff I would unwrap from a thai stick back in the day. Stringy, spaced out. Still killer weed though, just VERY sativa.

This is my diagnosis. Good luck.

Keep it growing, it will puff up, I have had plants of the same strain act differently in flowering. It could turn out to be the one you are most glad you kept, things work funny that way.

Heres a pic I found after Googling Thai+ Pics+ Weed

Stucturally similar to what you have calyx and pistil wise.

SO TRUE. You would gain ZERO right now as far as butter.....or not really worth the effort. Where as you tough it out, you might just have found a revival of old school Thai that is a highly prized commodity. It could turn out like this......

That would be sweet.

Like others said above it could just be behind because its more of a sativa phenotype and from what ive heard thai is one of if not the longest flowering sativas 14+ weeks. I hope you dont chop and good luck.
