Here is my CFL grow.

These are from tonight. The first pic is of one of the AK-47 clones. It is getting hairs all over it. The second pis is of Lacy she is looking beautiful. I was finally able to get the trics in the pic. The third pic is of Cagney. She is really starting to bud really nicely.

Just some pics from lastnight. There is just a few of the leaves that seem to be turning yellow in a couple spots. I will be watering with just plain water for the next week and then go back to the bloom booster. These plants still have another 5 weeks of flowering and i cant wait to smoke some of them.

Hmmm lookin pretty good man .. i might try some CFLs just for fun and see what happens ... how many do u use ..26w or 42... specs... ?... im just used to my 2 1000w mh's .. but CFLs look like they work pretty well

I am currently using just 4 23watt cfls and 2 22 watt cfls and 2 15 watt cfls. I really need to add about 4 more of the 22 watt cfls. I am surprised at how they are doing. But then again, this is my first grow ever. So i cant say personally how cfls compare to MH or HPS lights. But if you are stuck with a small grow area, the cfls do seem to be the way to go. That and it really isn't that hard to make enough ventilation in a small room with cfls. I really don't think i could get away with using a HPS light in the small area that i grow in. But i did see a small HPS light on ebay from HTGSupply.com for like 69$. That i might look into. But for now i am more than happy with the cfl grow.

These pics are from this morning when the lights came on. the 1st pic is of Cagney. The 2nd pic is of one of the tops on Lacy. And the 3rd pic is of one of the lower branches of Lacy. And the 4th pic is of the top on one of the AK-47 clones. Cagney and Lacy have around another 5 weeks left. And the 2 AK's have like another 6-7 weeks left of flowering. From the looks of things right now, I think that Cagney and Lacy will be covered in crystals when they are done. I cant wait for another 3 weeks to see how the AK's look. I should have started another set of seeds a couple weeks ago but have not got around to it yet. But i figure by the end of next week i will have the seperate veg room setup and will get some seeds started then. I have one Afghan seed that i hope turns out to be female. I may use her as a mother and just take clones off of her. And i will get one more AK-47 clone to use as a mother also. So my next grow should be 2 AK's and 2 Afghani. I want to get it down to harvest 2 plants a month. That will be more than enough for me and a friend.

My room height is 48 inches. But my plants are only like 20inches tall. You live and you learn. Next time i may veg them for a little longer to get them just a little bigger. But for my first grow i am happy and learning at the same time.

can you use "4 little 13watt and 4 22watt soft white bulbs" for the whole growth from day 1 to whenever your done?

Well, like i said. I vegged Cagney and Lacy for a little over 3 weeks under 3 15w cfls. And the funny thing is, Cagney had 2 of the bulbs over her and Lacy only had 1 bulb over her while they vegged for the first few weeks. It surprised the shit out of me to see how well they did and are doing now. Here is a pic of how my lights are now. As you can see, I don't even have 4 of the bulbs on their sides. But the homemade reflector that i made seems to work really well. I know that it is not the best one made but it does work as you can see from the pics. I say that as long as you don't veg them for over 3 or 4 weeks than they should be fine with just a few bulbs. Just do what you have to. Get the grow started and take good care of your new babies and just add more light when needed. You don't have to start out with 12 42w bulbs at once. Just use what you have or can get and have fun with it. I know that since i started this grow. I have not been bored at all. I find myself standing there staring at them all the time. Hell i even talk to them a few times a day. LOL

Thanks here is a couple more pics of her that i just took. The first 2 are of Lacy and the last 2 are of one of the AK-47 clones that have been flowering for about 17 days now. I think that Cagney and Lacy will produce some really good hash with the trimmings. It wont be very much but i bet it will be really good.

I started them on Dec.2 and started flowering on Dec.28. They have just about doubled their height since Dec.28th.

Thanks! I really can't wait till the end of Feb. I don't really care about the yeild as much as the high. I know that i could probably double my yeild if i had the room but that will have to wait awile. I may just end up building a small 5x5 foot room on my house next summer and setup so i can grow taller and more plants.

Just to show how well these plants have done. Here are a couple pics of Lacy vegging under just one 15w cfl and Cagney under two 15w cfls. They are 21 days old in the pics. The 3 foot long flouro leaning on the back wall of the grow room that you see in the pics was only in their for like 3 days. I did not like it takin up room in the room because it was too long to hang over the plants so i took it out.

After looking in on my plants tonight, I noticed that the AK's are doing really well for their size. I do wish i would have been able to veg them for a couple weeks longer to get alittle more height out of them. And i am going to stop the little experiment with the small AK in the cup. I will transplant it in one of the coffee cans in a couple days when i get some more soil. The two AK's was almost the same size in height and bushyness. Now the one in the plastic coffee can is alot taller and bushier. Here is a couple pics of the plants from tonight. I am going to have to stop posting pics everynite so you guys dont get bored with my grow but i am having a blast. Happy Growing Everyone.

is it me or did you top the hell outta those plants, how tall was the top? like 5'' long?...lol....
