*2*- 2700K-4200 Lumens each
*2*- 5000k - 1600 Lumens each
*2* - 6500k - 1600 Lumens each

850 watts - 14,800 Lumen Cfl's ha ha

I kept the light an inch above the little guys..there growing leaves between the stem nodes already but they wont get light if the damn leave are growing into a ball ha ha..ill move the lights back to stretch them and then move them back down to stunty them again...we can experiment

I decided to get 2 lbs of dry ice and fog my plants to see if that will help them any...I noticed before I fogged them that one of the tops of my plants is looking like its growing taco's.. the whole top set of leaves are folding into its self like a " V " or a taco...Ive heard that this is either the lights are too close or humidity is too low. The humidity is 30% relatively and the lights are about 6 inches away. I turned the lights on them and one was in the dark looking like this but when I had the lights on last night they were fine..nutrients is all I can imagine..any ideas what nutrient would the plants be deficient in?...im giving them fish emulsion tonight to green them up a bit but other than that give me your idea's..

thanks :-)

I am on my first grow also..and my plant is a short, fat, bushy one. I am using cfl's also and I kept the lights close. I read that on this site that they need to be within 1-2 inches for proper penetration..that was the result. It is a sticky right at the beginning of the cfl growing sub section..about proximity. She has grow out nicely and has a ton of flower sites.

Alright so these are my new pictures as of today the 4Th.

I was curious If anyone can help me figure out what deficiency my plants are having. I know the yellowing is Nitro Def but the spotted crusty leaf one is Kind of throwing me off here. I have been watering them with 1 Tbsp of Fish Emulsion to 1.89 liters of water every other watering. The NPK is 5-1-1, I was thinking of adding half a table spoon of bloom nutes to balance out the Fish E but im not sure if that will help or not.

Last night I came home to my closet shut and my plants nearly growing over my light bulbs so they got a little shocked. Now I am left to try and nurse them back to health. I moved my lights to about a half foot from two plants and 4-6 inches from the others. They grew faster so now I have an uneven canopy.. Oh well... any ways im going to try and up the dosage of Nitro to try and get them emerald green like the one plant I have and also try some bloom to to try and fill in more of the P and K deficiency that I think it might have..

Any help is beneficial if you have any clue what the heck they are doing :hump:

I had zip lock bags on the bottoms of the pots to keep them from making a mess on my carpet but since I threw away the bags and set the pots on a baking pan they have since perked way up. only one plant is drooping now and only one is lime green. I believe one has a MG deficiency which im going to try and solve with epsom salt. The plant has rust spots and is lime green in some area's. Ill take more picts tomorrow to show how they have perked back up..

I cut all the nasty leaves off hoping I can stop the decay...only time will tell

Scrapping the bags was a good idea, mostly what you had going on was a over or under watering problem. The only other advise I would give you is next time go strictly with the daylight 6400k's for veg and 2700k's for flowering.. only my opinion, i'm no veteran by no means! I do the same thing in HID setups, I'll run MH for veg and HPS for flowering.

Good luck and keep it green my friend!

Hey Hustler. I seem to have something similar going on. I have 4 Purple Kush babies at about 3 1/2 weeks from breaking soil and I think they are some Bushy shit. I was planning on topping before LST but seriously, there is nothing to top, the top is SO TIGHT. Have a look and see if we are in the same boat.
Peace, I am subbed and will be interested in what you and others have to say about the whole subject.
