Sweet~

Just got in some free samples of Oregonism XL from Aurora Innovations. This is the company that makes the Roots Organics and the Soul Synthetics lines. Oragonism XL is their beneficial bacteria and fungus product with like 15 different species of bacteria. Received 2, 2 ounce packages of the stuff. They also have a cool offer if you send them $20 for shipping they will send you a quart each of their Roots Organics or Soul Synthetics lines. I believe each has 5 bottles with 1 part formulas, micro nutrients, enzymes, and a flushing solution. 5, 32 ounce bottles of a full line for 20 bucks, can't beat that.

DUDE..I'd settle for the 20 bucks for the oregonism xl..that stuff is supposedly golden..didn't use it on this grow yet BUT if I get the 5 Pots I"ll be sure to try it out...where did you get such a sweet deal if you don't mind me asking?

Your going to love the roots organics..that's what I use and quite honestly I see no point in changing atm. Maybe if I go DWC at some point I"ll try out the sould synthetics line.

PS still waiting on my free care package that you talked about pages ago..not from you but the one you got...how long did it it take you to get?

I sent the guy a message on youtube and he said that at the warehouse they didn't send out free samples for about a week because they were so busy filling actual orders. The day after I sent him the message the package arrived. It was 2 weeks and 1 day before I got the package. They are located in the middle of Cali fo the shipping wasn't far.

After learning that a lot of companies had free sample packages, I sent Aurora an email saying something like "I've heard great things about your product, I'd like to try some in my garden and if it works as well as I think they are I'll be a buyer for life~" They said they send the Oregonism for free and she sent me a .pdf with their free sample program, which you basically pay the shipping for.

You should be getting the Xtreme Gardening one in the mail soon enough.

ps went to the site you posted a link too..now as great as all that info causes do you (or anyone for that matter) think there seems to be an "overload" of sorts RE: plant issue problems..I mean info is great but too much info is a tad overwhelming and I think (keyword "I") that it could lead to some false diagnoses (sp?)

I like the site because you can first just click what your problem looks like rather than read what each element does. The site seems to narrow problems down for you.

About to go turn the ladies on, back in a few.

Edit: just shows how people is crazy about their orchids~

Haha 420, when I first found that site I didn't manage to scroll down because the problem I was looking for was at the top of the page. You're soo right, there's like 40 dif things that can be wrong with your plant on that site~

2-3 of the first clones to root (Hog) are showing brown leaf edges and tips. The leaves are also curling inwards and the growth is yellow and distorted. Kind of a whole bunch of shit at once. Last night before I put them to bed I made a 1/4 strength foliar feed with the cns17 grow formula and a couple drops of superthrive. They're looking a bit better this morning.

Looking back, this might not have been a disease or a deficiency at all, it could have been that I put them under the 1k watter too fast. There's some empty space around the flowering room and I wanted to take advantage to the light and the warmth in there on some of the clones and give them a head start, they grew fast as fuck, maybe a little too fast.

hmmm...well I don't think it's nute burn but I think your spot on when you say it's the 1k light..can you raise the light a tad?

It's fixed to the ceiling for this run. Next run I'm going to craigslist the current 1k watter for more than I bought it for (got too sick of a deal), and get a better system. I want a vented, enclosed hood for the upcoming summer months where I know the temps are going to get too high in there.
