Know someone who is lst-in some ice.. I think the plant grows in too thick when lsting and dosent put out the number of tops that one would hope for...Seems to me that this strain might be better in a sog set up.
This LST'd ICE plant has about 10 tops now. And as for it growing in to thick, this is why they invented the clippers.
I bought ICE seeds from Nirvana. In their disription, they said that ICE was mainly an indica. I do not like to grow Sativa's in doors with my style. Anyway, the ICE plants had more Sativa traits then I like.
I have a crop of AK48 going right now, but I had taken one clone of the ICE for a mother. But once I saw how these plants were more of a Sativa, I decided to just do some LST to it and see how it goes, then throw it into flowering once my AK's were ready.
I sent Nirvana an email complaining about their piss poor discriptions and lack of it. And they told me they were going to send me (10) AK-48 seeds for my trouble. When the seeds arrived Nirvana had once again made a mistake and sent me (10) packs of (10) seeds.. Opppps. I have ordered from Nirvana on and off for about 5 years now, but I think this will be my last time. They charge top dollar for their seeds, but yet can only give you a sentence or two for a discription of the strain you are interested in. A good seed bank should tell you everything the breeders know about it. What conditions they like, Temp, Heavy or light Nuts, if they grow tall and fast. what ever. But yet they almost give you nothing.
ICE did produce some nice High Quality buds. But I almost had to raise the roof in my house. This would be a good plant to grow outside in my opinion, not indoors. It is almost like they just use the same disrciption for most of their strains.
EDIT: One more thing about Nirvana's ICE Strain. It likes Super Heavy Nutrient feeding. While in Flowering, I had to push them to about 2 1/2 Times the recommended Dosage of nutrients to make them happy.
