hey kiki i went back & looked at the pics your symptoms dont look too grim how often do you water???? i would maybe sit back & let your soil dry out & then water with plain water & look at your newest growth to see whats going on established growth tends to change & bottom growth tends to die off as your plants pull nutrients to devote to the top growth your new top growth is really the barometer of your plants overall health some times ''overcaring'' can be harmful this is a leaf i pruned off i get a lot of wierd leaf symptoms off my bottom growth mimmicking many symptoms but my top growth stays good every once in awhile i add epsom salt to my res. at a rate of 1 tsp. per gal. of liquid
 
I agree with Herk. Don't freak... Just follow it and watch for something on a bigger scale. Plants do weird shit sometimes.

yes GG - I didn't freak - I'm just being patient watering with just epsom salt and 6.5 PH'd water. PH runoff is 6.4 so it has to be a mg deficiency.

Herk - I water every 3 days..... I check the soil 3 inches down, and I lift up the pot to see how much it weighs before I water.... sometimes my SLH goes 4 days because it doesn't take up as much water as the other strains.

I'll do an update tomorrow as I just got home.... been in Disneyland for 2 days.... and holy smokes.... I got home and the lights were on! That's a fu**king problem. HyrdoFarm timer must have been hit on my way out the door because it got switched to ALWAYS ON instead of on my 12/12 cycle. I just switched to 12/12 on Christmas Eve.... I don't know what is going to happen because now lights have been on for 48 hours solid! I don't know how bad that will jack with the metablolism of the plants. We'll see. I'll post new pics and the weekly update in the morning as it is late.
 
Damn thats a real bummer! Oh well nothing you can do about it now. I do recommend you go out and get a digi timer though. I too was given a free tab timer but I didn't trust the reliablity so I went out and got a 8 dollar walmart one. It hasn't let me down yet.

well - it's been a great timer, they cost 15 bucks... but it has a slider switch on the side so you can switch it to always on, or the timed side.... it was barely switched to always on... so I know I had to have hit it just before I left on Sunday as I was moving stuff around. Just plain bad luck - I just hope they can recover and get into flower.
 
hi kiki, my digital dual outlet timer only cost me $15. im sure you can find one like mine at the price if you call around to some hydro shops. it's a real nice unit, im sure its already saved me lots of headache and worrying.
 
Picture 072.jpgPicture 073.jpga friend gave me this timer awhile back it has 6 outlets & a built in reset/breaker button this way my fans come on with my lights i like the cover feature too myself i prefer a mechanical timer & dont know if theyre better or not i like being able to turn a knob & set a couple of pins & fire it up i have a hard time with tv & cell phone settings too maybe you could put a peice of duct tape over that little switch my slh takes 14 days after turning 12/12 to show the first little buds trying to develope a minor set-back but youll be ok thats the kinda shit that happens to me all the time when i try to focus on too many things at once i guess im kind of a jay-cat:mrgreen:
 
yeah caught them early good eye there spidermites never sleep for long though around here they come with the territory especialy in warmer months & at bud time

Kiki, things are looking good, I wouldn't let one plant get you down, at least you have eight other girls with no problems right? That's the first thing I'd have a look at, all of the other plants are getting the exact same regiment of 1/2 strength nutes correct? And they are looking good correct? If this is the only plant that is showing these signs and it's the only one of this strain then I'd suspect this particular strain is a little more hungry for some particular nute then the others... I can't see the pics that well on this PC, so I'll have another look later and let you know if I'd echo the MG def that keeps coming up.... otherwise, damn good job, actually, I'd still say damn good job all round!
 
Kiki do you have a damage report for us yet as far as the girls go..sorry to hear about the lights and all..hopefully things work out for you *fingers crossed*
 
Hey Kiki, my buddy gave me his Giesel to mother out and it came with the borg, I'm seeing them now. I'm going to pick up a Hot Shot No-Pest Strip tomorrow and I'll tell you the progress. It's WAR!
