i know that there is a certain green led light you can get so you can check on your plants during the 12 hr off period and i am pretty sure it has to be pure green not just the glass colored green, does anyone know where to get a good priced one of these for a cheap price?

You really don't want to look at your plants when they sleep.. Plants do NOT respond to the green spectrum of light but I would not even mess with the babies at night.............. And yes don't paint a bulb green and think it will work, it won't...

i know not to paint the bulb green i am not an idiot and no i need to check on them for about 10 seconds to check the temp but i only do that one time and i know that 10 seconds wont hurt them but id rather use the green led instead of this tiny flashlight, even ed rosenthal says use the green led to check on them
