Those temps are fine. In fact the co2 guys run those temps optimally. Fr no co2 enrichment you could drop a few degrees but don't be scared to sleep. Just make sure you don't get to the 90s, that's where trouble starts.

At the same time strains are different, I've seen some do ok under 90s, I'm sure it would have been better under 80s though.

thanks karr, appreciate it, i plan on using the homemade co2, from the DIY here. will that make my temps run even higher? or just help the plant thrive in those tropical temps?

I like Mid 80's ....Think of how how Hot Mexico gets or how Cold Afghanistan gets That should speak volumes about the range of Temps these plants can handle and thrive in

not sure of the method you are referring to, but most homemade Co2 methods wont create much heat if any. maybe a slight chemical reaction?? The heat is generated primarily from Co2 generators which burn propane or natural gas

As far as outside plants, there are many factors why they tolerate higher temps

The Co2 will help the plants thrive at the higher temp

Also air with higher concentration of co2 will heat up faster/more than a low co2 concentration. It's like water. The more that is suspended in water the more matter is available to absorb suns rays and warm up.

When I get back in i will link you a test of homemade co2 methods. The guy does a great job testing with a ppm meter.

Keep in mind that Co2 enrichment, and the higher optimum temps that go with it, only work if everything else is at optimum levels. You must have at least 50 watts of HID per square foot (60 is better), your nutes have to be on track, and your roots need access to plenty of oxygen and water. You're only as good as your weakest link.
