All of the videos and tutorials I have read on cloning are very informative, but I still have questions. These white widows are about 4 weeks. They are short and full. There is not anything long enough to cut TO clone. Do I just let these girls grow more first? I have 4 auto flowering roadrunners that are just about done, and when I look at those, they dont have any longer pieces to cut either. I am not attempting to cut these autoflowerers I am just using them as an example of I dont know if I am growing these things wrong, or what because I never see anything to take as a clone.

im using a 48" sun systems light 8 bulbs temp is between 70-74 with humidity 34-37. I have not added any nutes yet, I am using ocean forest soil. The lights are about 3" above plants.

yeah you will have to wait a little longer to clone, until the lower nodes have 3 nodes on them. But to be honest you only really want to clone good strains to keep the genetics in your grow room. But if those are 4 weeks old they should be taller than that, especially since you are running the fluorescents way to far from the plants. maybe try dropping your lights to about 12" above your plants and see if that improves node growth.

dont think you can clone autos...mabe if there really young tho? i have no clue
I had a feeling me putting that in there would be confusing. SORRY!!! These white widows are not autos. I have some autos flowering that I just wanted to use as an example that I have not seen a plant with long enough pieces to cut. The autos have long pieces but they are just the big fan leaves, everything else is tight with the buds, in the auto plants that is. But that is how these white widows are looking too

Yes, the ones in flowering I have, the northern lights (which are a total lost cause) and the road runners which are monsterous!!!!! So the next feeding you think start with like 1/4 strength of the nutes? I have 2 kinds for veg, floranova and the other is in basement, dont know name off the top of my head.

white widow seedlings take a while, be patient it will be well worth the wait. give all the nutes they can stand, just keep a close eye on them and keep H2o ready.

Hey D...I ran into this problem too. LST fixed it though. I tied my girls over and after a week or two their under branches started getting bushier which gave me prime cloning spots: baby branches but with a couple nodes. I just took the clippings tonight we'll know in a few days how good they'll do!
