Sea of green question

I've read a lot of post on this topic but none really answer the direct questions I have so I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the answers. My room deminsions are 4x6x8tall. I have one 600watt light.

1. How many plants should I put in this space?
2. How tall should they be when I start flowering?
3. Do you feed them the same as normal or do you go with a different feeding secdule?
4. What size containers do they need to be in?

That should help me out a lot. Well thanks for any advice you guys give, it will be greatly appreciated.

You need to read more. LOL

SOG is done with clones, do you have host (mother) plants?

That space is a bit large for just 1 600w lamp.

I do 4 plants/sqft in 6"x6"x8" pots. Cuts (clones) are 8-10" tall when flowering is induced. 3'x3' area with 800w of light.

Yeah I have seen were clones come up a lot when they are giving directions on how to grow using the sog method. Can it not be done with seeds? I can reduce the size of the grow area if needed. I have it built in a spare bedroom inclosed with plywood. What type of yeild do you get with your setup? Thanks for the advise.

u should be able to fit at least 40 plants under a 600 SOG.

start them when they are at node 4-5

thats when all the seedlings started getting hairs so best bet thats the soonest they can flower.

You should put the bed in the closet and open up the room to bloom! :)
"Wetdog" had answered you bout' the best.....
SOG with new cuttings baby...Seed will take forever and you will probably chew all your fingernails off by then, due to not having any medicine...lol
96 available sites for your Veggies with those dimensions, possibly.Feeding of course, I wasnt really sure to the exact question you were askin(VEG/BLOOM/Transitions from....)
As far as containers, what method are you leaning towards? Soil,Flood and drain, etc...........Me personally, just me, would probably just run a 4x4 flood table in there, with a little room to spare for some air circulatin around the forest. One 6 hundy should be fine at the right elevation and dont forget about your fresh in and your exhaust..., if you choose to go with seed i would recommend some feminized or pre-sexing the ones you have and go with 6-12" pots and flower them @ about 30-36".Hard to see what you are workin with but then again it's all relative...

I see that a lot of people say that it will take forever to flower. About how long did it take your buddys crop to complete?

I usually start my plants about 3-4weeks before I yank the ones that are finished, so they are about 5-6 in tall when they go under the big light. I use the good old method of soil. I have fox farms soil and nutes. When I said feeding I was talking about how to fertilize them. Right now I water them twice a week. Once with nutes at about 800- 900 ppm and once with just water. So the question would be. If I do a sog grow do I use thus same feeding method or do I need to change it up. I can wait as long as the end result Is worth it. I have a 475cfm in and out so it is well vented. Seeds are from attitude and all fem. Reserva og kush #18, ghs super lemon haze, ghs white widow, and Dina fem blue widow&cheese. I do good with the method I use now which is grow them to about 16 in the flower. I do 6 at a time And get about 2.5-3.5oz a plant this way. I didn't know if sog would be better so I figured I would get some info from the pros on here.

Listen my man....you are well on your way.Fox farm...definately a soil growers' choice.Same feeding with sog.No reason that I could fathom to change it up.I would continue the path that you are on.Me, personally, wouldn't even go SOG unless you are cutting clones, growing a strain that is gonna produce a bomber top,and looking for rapid turnover as far as harvest times.I would continue with what you got, cause if you are gonna sprout a new seed, you may as well get every branch to produce. The thing with the femmy seeds though, is that it eventually gets to costin' you some coin.Get onto the cloning avenue, keep your seeds for mommas, 6 oughta produce a boatload of clones.Same ferts though, and your actual watering sched. is up to your discretion, dont overdue it though...let em dry out a little every now and then to get them roots "seeking".I would even leech them a little here and there, depending on how good your water source is(preventing salt build-up and undissolved matter. vent sounds good. Sog better with clones...my personal opinion andopinion of some others that are "seasoned".

No dout man. Appreciate the advise. I was only thinking about it cause my og's got like 6.5 ft tall and the bottom leaves are starting to wilt a bit. Not sure but I think it cause they don't get much light. Hope so anyways. I heard that with the sog method you could grow more smaller plants, get the same yeild and dencer nugs. Oh well I might just veg them for 2 weeks this time and get some cfl and hang near the bottoms.
