Can someone help me with this plant?

Hey RIU, this is my Kandy Kush after about 2 weeks. It's on it's second node, but the lower leaves look as though they are folding in. They also show areas of minor transperancy with a light green tint. It also seems a little small width wise.

The only nutes that I am using are being infused at an extremly low rate, maybe 1/4 the dose, I also only water when almost bone dry 2-3" deep. The pH is normal.

The only thing I can think of is temps. Right now, I am using a 150w HPS with 5 23w CFL's around the side. i haven't got a thermometer at the moment, so I can't accuratly test the heat. I have added a bigger fan today. So what do you guys think?

the first one looks good. the other looks a little troubled.
im not an expert at all. but it looks too young to be giving nutes. i dont add nutes till 4th week of veg right brfore my transition to 12/12
my opinion dont add nutes just plain ph water for now.

agrre with tbo. i fed my plant with nute ONCE during vegg...it burned. so i advice not givin it nutes for about a month if you got a rich soil.
i basically didnt use any nutes at all durin vegg except for that one time

still, your kush looks fine to me

Yeah man I don't use nutes til 3rd or 4th wk have you been feeding them every time u water ? And I would shut the hps off til they green up a little just run the cfl's and maybe a few more if ya can just til it greens up. Thats what I would do. Peace

They are fine , you are over anaylsing, it is a weed, let it grow, your seedlings look fine ...........

You guys are probably right. I stop the nutes completely, till as you guys recommend. I usually only feed about 1/4 once per week.

it is Exodus Cheese i took the pic under a blue led panel ,tbh its the best use i have been able to put the panel too lol! its one i let go 12/12 straight from rooted cutting grew to about 15cm and was a fine puff =) the mother is very busy ............

ahhhh this 1 i just put in early as veg room was full, it dried to just over a 1/4 , heavily trained clones i been working for 2 years and they cluster nicely......usualy let them go to 1-1.5m ....

damn man. mines a foot tall and stopped increasing in height :S sounds like i aint got to much yeild to look forward to

Well, I have transfered it to a fresh soil mix, I have begun to flush it, and have removed the HPS for the time being. It has begun to show browning on the bottom leaves, is this a sign it was nute burn...(see pic)



Can/Should I cut these leaves off? I want to eventually top this plant.

You can trim the leaves but I wouldn't just keep it under the cfls for a few days and it will jump back, you can stick any thermometer in there to c temps. I have a few that just stick anywhere you put them and they work! You can put the cfl's real close inch or 2 from them what wattage you have. Peace
