AK47 or White Russian

Just have a few questions before I make my final selection. I plan to do a bubbleponics setup each plant with individual 5 gal and I plan on going Vert. I plan on using a 400w Which plant would best for this setup? Which one would adapt the best to the conditions? This would be my first time.

Is Serious Seeds a good company?

Serious Seeds is a very well know company. One of top. Can't go wrong with Ak-47 or White Russian. I found myself in the same dilemma last week and chose White Russian.

man, I think the best advice you can get right now is "K.I.S.S" - keep it simple stupid! Its your first grow and your planning on doing a vertical grow in bubble buckets? I know how bad you wanna get huge yields quick but until you get at least a tiny bit of experience under your belt maybe just trying a soil grow at first. Or at least just do the regular dwc buckets and dont bother with the vert grow man, just keep it as simple as possible for your first time you know? You might actually find you have a larger yield by just sticking to the basics because your less likely to run into problems that will affect the yield anyways. Just my two cents...

I'd go with White Russian and I'd take Diowk's advice. I've seen people buy 1000watt Hps systems with light movers and the works for their first grow and just end up selling it on craigslist cause they went balls deep in something that they've only read about. (No offense. It's your money do what you want with it.) But I'd go with the Russian. Maybe it's cause I'm originally from Russia, who knows?

Buy 3 or 4 feminized single seeds of both, two very different types of effects, you'll enjoy the variety. I picked up both AK and WR and got Chronic free with Attitude's last seed deal to fill out my set until Serious releases #6. I've been growing Kali Mist and Bubblegum for years and they're my #1 & 2 strains respectively.

Serious seeds is no joke. You need to decide if you want more of the balanced effect of the white russian or the slightly speedy effect of the AK. Both are strong and both will yield well.

if youre going to do hydro, ak is the way to go. all phenos of that strain respond extremely well to any form of hydro, dwc especially.
AK is E.L.E., bro. first time i smoked some when it finished, i thought i was going to die. no shit, smoked waaaay to much and almost called 911. as far as training goes, she would tie in knots and still produce monster colas... check this bush out! 2 month veg, dwc. plant measures 6'x5'.

Sound advise. This is my first grow though. 11 plants in a 6 x 8 room under 2 1000's, top feed hydro, house and garden nutes.

growing white russian right now myself. im extremely happy with the plants and the grow so far. they are a strong plant that puts of a strong smell. the buds are getting huge and im only 4 weeks into flower

YOUR environment was the issue, not the strain.

LOL. White Russian is ak/White Widow! The russian is one of the most potent strains in the WORLD! Mine runs right at 22.5 thc and that is the best out of 150 strains independently tested. It likes to be left alone though so without co2 don't expect little plants put to flower to make much. I mean less than 12" tall you won't yeild well on this bushy big girl. I put two to flower and they are taking up half an area that is 7x8 at 14" tall.. Gl.

White russian is a short to medium height, decent yeild that has a great indica whack,,,, it is my favourite go to sleep strain,, and I have grown out several strains including chronic, Northern Lights , Trainwreck,,,,

View attachment 1367271I just harvested 6 WR grown in flood and drain. Nice, nice stuff. Perfect strain for hydro. Chronic is a bigger yielder and has an incredible aroma I haven't grown AK, but my goal is to grow the entire Serious line.
