Seedling growing one new leaf??? Help please!

I've been growing vanilla kush for 21 days from seed now and the first 2 pointy leaves developed fine but there is only one leaf growing now with no signs of another one following. I had my plant outside, but due to overcast and thunderstoms I moved it under some CFL's on 2 powerstrips in my closet and ran them 24/0 since yesterday. Can the light cycle change be the cause? Any help is appreciated

you said you did the change yesterday? maybe that stressing abit / stunted. Give it a week or 2 and you'll see the answer to the question. Patience my friend.

I think it will be alright because its growing strong, but still deformed. Can temp/light stress on a seedling affect its sex? I bought my VK feminized seed from Barney's and I really want to grow it all the way thru and I'll be damned if some silly clouds tampered with the gender. I've never experienced this in a grow so I have no idea what to expect this will do to my plant.

my seedlings have been tru so much stress but they have 4 leaves 2 lil ones growing and its only been 5 1/2 days

They have had the root cut they have had light changes from 24 hours to no light for 5 hours to 24 hours to 22 then 2 hours off then switching lights from t5 to 75 watt bulb

and they are just fine

Perhaps I'm overreacting because I need everything to go perfectly and my baby leaves are acting goofy lol I've been checking on it every few hours and I notice some new growth every time I look at it, although the deformed leaf is still growing out funny and the second leaf is still a phantom that won't show itself. Again, she's only 21 days old from sprout...I'm sure everything will go swimmingly once it start to veg...I hope.

Something is wrong for sure, thats absolutely tiny for 21 days. at 3 weeks you should be looking at a good 6-8 inches w/solid growth shoots developing from the nodes at the least, even with using cfls or weak sunlight. How often are you watering and have you been keeping your ph in check?

yeah i know i might be a newb and this might be my first grow but i get as much info as possible before i start so i know its fine.

Even after i failed a move with it i cut like 2inches of root i thought it would die but its still going strong

I have 6 ak-47 from Serious that are exactly 22 days from paper towel into party cups of soilless. The smallest plant is 5.5 inches with 4 nodes and the tallest is 7 inches with 5 nodes (some stretching).

How are you feeding these plants?

I know, but i can imagine his plants size and growth based off of his description of it and what i know of plants and how they can stall early in life like ive seen plenty of times before, its not a normal thing for a healthy seedling under decent to good conditions to stall out that long like this. I never though that was a pic of his plant.

Your doing alright- biggest thing to remember when starting out is to chill out. Let nature happen, your just the guy who's bringing all the essential elements together.

Please however next time start a new thread so others can benefit from a specific thread for a specific problem.

How are you feeding these plants?

I haven't started feeding yet. The reason it is so underdeveloped is because it grew about an inch or more before I had to surgically remove the film from the first 2 leaves that were sticking together. Also it was downpouring rain and there were heavy winds outside for the first week and half of its life so I had it under a desk lamp and it looked very uncomfortable which I completely understand. All I know is that the plant is growing now and hopefully it starts pumping out some nice leaves in the next few weeks.

The sooner you produce a good and stable environment the sooner that plant will drop roots and take off for you.

I have a big buddah auto about a week or so from seed and having the same issue! single leaves on each side! THEN one leaf on the right i had to seperate but i do not see anything growing in the middle! this is strange.
