New Grow...OG Kush and Sour Kush Help!

Whats up guys I am a new grower and I am looking for some tip to help me along. I am probably a month away from starting. What I have

600wt HPS/MH
AN Nutes (No Haters I got the $ so whats the prob)
2 x 4 x5 Grow Tent
6" Value fan and a Carbon filter that is exiting through my Air cooled light
1 little fan in the room
temp/humidity meeter


What size pots should I get? (going to probably start with 4 gals and get a mother and go from there)
Im still up in the air about the medium either Coco or Pro Mix?
If i go coco do I need a CalMg?

Please if anyone has some input let me know I like to get all the knowledge up front so I can get it rite...No hating on AN plz I have already heard it all it is a matter of opinion and we all know what those are like.

DWC Bubble bucket Imo.

Or get yourself a cooler that has a drain, temp will always stay the same and not flux.

Bubble bucket setup cost - 10$ max without lights ofc, but you already got that.

1 inch rockwool and 4 inch net pot with hydroton rocks.

it rapes all competition.

Lol I used to grow aeroponics then I found coco you can grow monster ass plants in 4 gallon pots with coco and the product taste way better then with rocks IMO lol it's a fact what am saying and yes you start to use cal/mg when your plants are 3 weeks old or so about 5ml to a gallon of water I start my seeds off in cups for two weeks then to one gallon pots then to 4 gallon pots three or four days before i flower plants grow like f'n crazy in coco if you have any more questions on what your doing pm me I hand water to waste the only pump I use pumps my drainage to the bathtub and I use gh 3part nutrients with florablend and floraliciois plus the hole grow and liquid koolbloom as an additive during flower Cheap nutrients awesome results

Thanks for the info just not confinident with my technique to go with hydro yet...got a dwc bucket and a ebb and flow just waiting till i get a few grows in.

Ya my dude at the grow shop is in love with coco thats kinda why i was leaning to it....I think that i am going to try GH nutes when I run out of AN got a killer deal on almost the whole line up got damn near 50% off all them (crazy what addicts will do). Is there a reason that you do so many transplants, I understand germinating in a cup and one transfer just didnt know why you went from 1 gal to 4 gal b4 flower?
