good look..thanks... one more question i ordered seeds from that nirvana site that is on here i just ordered teh durban poisen, and in teh discription it talks about a yield of 500 grams/ is that 500 grams from all ten seeds or from each plant?...(beginner at all of this):peace:

Sublime, i'm looking to scrog as my first grow. From dirt to t5's I have 29" of height. I was wondering, at what height would you recommend putting the screen? Oh and what size pots and how far apart should they be?

I'd put the screen about 10" above your pots. And for pots, the rule is about 1 gallon of pot for 1ft of growth. So anywhere from a 1-3 gallon pot would work. On average, scrogged plants need a minimum of 12"x12" of screen as I recall Billybob mentioning.

Sublime you seem to know your stuff pretty well so let me run my idea by ya real quick or anyone else who wants to jump in... I was thinking stealth, so i found a big Old Speaker box that i would just remove the Speakers and convert to box. It measures 30.5"h. 16"w. 10"l. First is that enough space ya think?? Second. Would u go a small dwc setup or soil? first grow keep in mind. Vents i was thinking 2 120 computer fans at top. no intake it should create sucction. Light a 150w hps, mh, swich for flower.. that enough or should i throw some cfls or t'5s ya think? and what baout a scrog?? I think thats about it. So if any1 see's any problems let me know. Would Love input.

That might work for one plant. But I would definitely drill a few holes in the sides at the bottom to act as passive intakes. A 150w hps is going to put of a nice amount of heat, but I think its managable if the room it's in stays around 70-72. To be completely honest with you, you'd be better off buying a small cabinet. Suncast Utility Storage Base Cabinet - Wal-Mart is perfect for a 150w hps and 2-3 plants.

As your first grow, I suggest starting with soil. It all depends on how confident you are in your growing aptitude. Scrog is an excellent method if you think you can handle it. It's very different than just growing things straight up.

ya, if i wanted i would just go build a box, but i was thinking of materials around the house. do u have experience with a dwc?? so far on reading up they seem to be the most basic of hydro. i really wanted to experiment with this. plus i have all teh materials for a dwc setup.

Most of my hydro experience is with ebb and flo, nft, and drip feed. I've only done DWC a few times but it is the easiet by far.
