Fast question: My seed is germinated, and the taproot got pretty damn long on accident, due to me not checking the seed for a week. Once I planted it, I noticed the seed is really starting to come open, and I think the cotyledons are trying to be exposed. Would it be safe just to plant the taproot down in the soil, and have the top of the seed at the surface of the soil? I can see half the seed, with no roots exposed, but I just want to make sure it has a fighting chance to sprout.
