+rep harrekin for providing the link on topping, i topped at the third node and tonight when i went upto see the plants the "baby branches on the two nodes below where i cut where like tree trunks growing out of the plant, they were just a mass of green, also where i did make the cut was just stalled and the new branches were hardly growing. so i made the cut at the second node a few hours ago and its unreal how they have taken off, ill be topping a few of the others at the 2nd node i think. all the other guys seem to say cut at the 3-4 node but the results would not be as good i dont think.

also do i run a fan all day and how/ what should i do for an intake? small holes drilled through the side wall? a large pipe with a filter on the end to stop any pests getting in?

lotus feet, that should run ok but what i would do if i were is get an old phone charger or christmas tree light adapter and run that little fan from the mains, i have the exact same one running from an old 9v adapter and it works perfect, if you need any pics of how i wired it up let me know.
i just went up to check on the plants and two of the new leaves are stuck together!, there is one leaf spine for two leaves. pics below. also you can see how the plant is coming along now after i snipped its top off, plenty of growth for a day.



would you just cut the bogey leaves off or just see what happens, i am thinking of just sniping it. weird!

i was asking for that one lol. its doing my head in, i asked on the yopping thread and they said why did i want to chop it off cos it was ugly! dont give a fuck what it looks like , its just its right where the next growth should come from in the middle of the two leaves and because the leaves are stuck together the new growth cant come up in betwwen them.
ill put pics up of the adapter now shortly.

here you go lotus feet


the adapter is from an old phone we had in the house, it was 9v and 150ma, so as long as your not too far away from that then you wil be ok. my adapter had four wires, 2 for charging and 2 for operation of phone. i have my fan behind that tube and venting to the floor. if you find an adapter with two wires you cant go wrong, if you need any more help give me a shout.

I dont think Ill ever grow an untopped non-auto again. I used a little LST for a while to make the lower two branches catch up...but the amount of even canopy bud sites Im starting to see form in the last two days is unreal! My SD card keeps going to "Locked" when Im putting it into the camera so no pics but anyways, always top it if you need to 12/12 it I say.

EDIT: And they all have 4 main dominant budsites, all the other ones although on an even level just aint the same, but I want big colas. :)

Second that, ill top and lst the shit out of anything i get my hands on.

Buying some new beans for this years outdoor real soon now. Have'nt a clue what to get tho, the hollands hope was great to grow but didnt pack any of the "bang" i was after. I have one bag seed that looks like a nice plant, a mate is growing a few of them indoor and there about 3weeks into flowering, nice looks and stinks which is always a plus:weed:

Any ideas on a few strains lads? Im open for offers:roll:

i think in future i will top most of m,y plants, after my last grow which got to six foot. just watching the plant explode into growth after topping it makes you really feel you have done something right, then theres the fact you are going to have a four kolas instead of just the one. i cant wait to see how these turn out. im thinking of doing an outdoor grow as well if i can find somewhere safe. richie let me know where you plant yours, i wont tell anyone ,honest!
i had four leaves that were grown together on the plant in pick, so i got busy with a blade last night and gave them half a spine each, well see what happens.

thanks lu, that will really help, how loud is ur fan? I got a two wire charger 9v at 300ma. Just got the materials cut at college for free and ready to paint tonite, will post pics of finished product!!!

Looking for a couple of outdoor strains myself..
Dutch passion seem to do a few seeds for our climate.... but ive not seen anything thats kick ass as the moment.. Although, anyone done autos outside...??

If i dont scrog next time then i'll be doing this again for sure..

Gonna top some outdoor goodness this year, strain is still up in the air tho...might just do Hollands Hope, started inside for a month or two.

Ritchie they have western wonders in my local grow shop in limerick they a climatized to Ireland been grown in cork / kerry for years
I got 2 hollands hope fem seeds for outdoors this year it will be my 1st outdoor attempt i plan on taking clones to plant outside , any tips for the hollands hope ? Have you any pics of them outside ?

Lads has anyone bought from tarahydroponics.com before? I ordered last thursday still received nothing. Meant to be an overnight fastway courier delivery and it still says "Received" in my account on the website. Number rang out earlier... Worried!

hey dude, i was thinkin of buyin from dem but d internet site was not available. I tried on different computers but all said the site isnt in use. So ya,i'd b worried. Just keep ur fingers crossed and keep checkin,u neva know. Good luck and i hope u get the stuff. Let us know what happens.
