super cropping

This is my 3rd grow. I have had great success with the crappiest conditions and have moved up to T5 fixtures in a broadside configuration. I am happy with that but I have just heard of super cropping. I get the theory and know how to bend the top properly but I have never seen the end result.

Does this method increase yield by a lot and if so what's an estimate as the percentage increase in yield?

Does the main kola still grow or not and will the stuff that bushes out make kolas? like will the plants have more tops?

When should i bend the top of the plant?

And the plant 'take off' more during the flowering process?:dunce:

that helped but I don't know which of my strains will like to be supered.... I have Kandy kush (OG Kush x Train Wreck), a N. Lights x Big Bud, a white rhino and an unknown strain of sagarmatha. I was going to try the sagarmatha but am hesitant to do the others as this is my first grow. Also I am broadsiding my plants. One 4'- 4 buld T5 and one mounted to the wall so they get light from the top and side.

Third/First grow? Which is it?
BTW, Super cropping entails pinching the stem at the bend until an audible "crunch" is heard/felt.
LST is the process of bending/training w/o causing damage.
2 grows w/ schwag seed to experiment and my first with good seed.
sorry, should have clarified.
What is LST? I mean what does it stand for? Also, how do go about bending the top with out the 'damage'? When LST is used does the main top still make a bud? Do you do this to all the main stems? Also, how far into veg is this normally done?
Will the T5 fixture I have mounted to my wall be an advantage in your opinion? It is used with another fixture above. They each are 4' - 4 bulb and are rated at 20,000 lumens?

how many sq. ft. is that plant? When did you bend it. When you do does the top still make a bud?
The plant was 5'x5' and 3' tall. I started bending when the plant was 18" tall I vegged for 1 month plus I kept bending until the 2nd or third week of flower before I stopped. Keep in mind you should only do a couple of branches at a time and wait a couple of days before doing more

LST = Low Stress Training - this is simply bending & tying down the tallest portions of the plant so the lower branches can catch up to even out the canopy. As for a main Cola, yes the top will typically still have the largest cola, but you will get many more secondary colas with these techniques.

I supercropped (by accident) & it worked out GREAT & I will do it to them for all my grows..
LST is Da Bomb too... I do both now. LST & SuperCropping. Gets you some DAMN bushy plants. Great for small grow areas. Mines 2'X4' X4' & by doing this it allows me to FILL the box with danky buds..

NOte the first picture. Thats what it looked like straight down the center of the one plant. I was worried it would split into four & die but it stayed together nicely.
