Well I shou,d get my blackstar next week growing in a 3x4 area more or less will let you know how it goes with the blackstar and chinese panel.... maybe ill start a journal and post pics and update regularly to show what the blackstar is about.... again not looking for huge results just decent results if anything....

lol.....no not at all! I have been battling with the Blackstar gang.
I keep asking if we can keep the shilling of Blackstar down until someone posts results or at least not say that they are better than other proven lights.
That was directed at Kap Kron after he said that NOTHING is as good as Blackstar.

I dont consider myself part of any blackstar i just happened to purchase the lights and they did a great job for my closet grow.......and nothing is as good as blackstar...for the price of course

No its directed towards everyone......dunit seems to believe that we havent been exchanging valuable information for the first 150 pages of this thread.......and for some reason we have to prove something to him personally or it isnt true at all........maybe dunit should start another led thread or better yet he should go hang out 357 magnum forums i think he's actually the salesman

So I haven't once recommended anyone buy a 357 and I'm a salesman but KK constantly recommends Blackstar and he isn't.

I would actually recommend blackstar also.....I have a really hard time figuring out why u have a problem with that......

I always thought that the thread title was a joke - LED users UNITE - never going to happen, everyone wants to say theirs is the best as no one wants to admit to buying something that isn't the best.

I don't use LEDs - I use Kessil lights.

I never claimed to have the best light...... I never recommended my light..... I just keep asking what makes Blackstar so great, where are the numbers to back it up and all I get told is that NOTHING compares to Blackstar. Someone else questions Gotham Hydro and they get grilled too.

I give in.....Blackstar is the best! HTH

Funny thing happened after my last post, I could no longer access this thread because my computer said it was now harmful.
How did this become a harmful thread to my computer in a 30 minute span?
It is only this thread on RollItUp that is giving me that message too.
(I have an old POS computer that I'm using to post this, in case you're wondering)

Hey dunit I'm scribed to your grow man and really want to see some great results with your setup. The growth right now looks awesome I just want to see more solid grows from start to finish so we can put this HPS is better than LED if not comparable rant to an end.

you cant say you dont use LED's man Kessil lights ARE led's however under one lense and massivly concentrated. So lets get that straight first its their lense and concentration technology that are leaps and bounds above everyone elses shit

see its this kind of attitude that makes us think your an ass because you cant remain objective you take our good reviews and rant on them you take our bad reviews and say were bashin on other lights lol. Come come now. Blackstar happens to be the best for the PRICE sir watt for watt dollar for dollar right now sure maybe you could find somthing a LITTLE bit better but not much and your going to pay another 4-800 bucks for it depending on the manufacturer you choose. You tell me sound worth it? Didnt think so. You wanna talk about the best go look at kessil man they blow EVERYONE out of the water.

I myself have never claimed to have the best light, i dont think anyone has.......what makes blackstar so great is the price.....simple as that.....why buy $700 bucks for a 357 magnum which looks like red blackstar to be quite honest, without a logo of course......blackstars are a great bargain and they work......thats pretty much all can say i have never tried any other led lighting.......and as far as numbers, those numbers youre so worried about dont mean that much unless your in a controlled environment.....theres no way i can get 240 grams worth of bud in my closet so that 1 gram per watt ratio doesnt mean much to me or most other people.....if i had a room set aside for growing such as yourself then maybe that maybe i could shoot for that one day......led lighting is the best....not blackstar.....theyre just the cheapest led's that are proven to work wonderfully.....thats it

I'm just sick of the bitchin over "my panel is better than your panel" bullshit - Kessil lights are not panels of generic (or CREE automotive) LEDs, they are the only light that is designed and manufactured specifically for horticulture.
They may use a LED array but when people talk about LEDs they are usually talking about panels of generic bulbs, that may be close to the correct spectrum, and may have penetration, and may last forever (if the fans don't die first), but I don't use LED panels ... I use Kessil lights.

I used to enjoy reading this thread but it is so full of "mine is better than yours" bullshit that I'll just unsubscribe and grow happily with my lights.

I love technology and I love growing and I hate getting fleeced by corporations. That's why I don't like HID. The whole replace my bulb twice a year is just crap. Been really pinning my hopes on LED's for a while. I think I bought my Procyons three years ago. I wanna beat my best pull with HID using LED. Will this grow be the one? I objectively don't think so as I made a couple mistakes but I will run the sox off it and get better until I can kick my own ass
