Fancy stuff, i'm in the big smoke so scrubbing is key. I also have 3x 400mg ozone generators in the house which is total overkill to the point I may damage my lungs LOL but I must suggest odorsoks for venting, wow!!!! light in weight, cheap, washable and much smaller in size without compromising effect. Why do you bung the brewing kit in the ducting? co2 or smell deterent?
no no i bung it when the lights are off or it gets to cold in there , in the summer i wont bother , i will just let it flow, i use the old yeast,sugar water method for my co2 in a big 5 ltr vat, not ideal i know i gotta change it every3 days and it can get messy , im lookin into other options for that at the mo......
There are some interesting threads on the sugar water method on here, I have used it myself before but think it's too much hassle for too little gain personally. I think buying brewing kits are much better or at least using proper brewing yeast. But I still think the way to go is bottle and regulator. Although I have to admit that lately I have not bothered with co2 and still got great results.
i am also leaning toward not bothering, as im chuckin so much fresh air into my room they must be getting there full portion of co2 already, if i had a massive grow room i might reconsider but i to have not really noticed any difference , they grow outdoors with no co2 gen so........plus it is messy and also pongs a bit , carrying it into my loft is also tricky, bad enough carrying my 5 litre water bottles up there .....
Hearing you say you have to carry your water up there makes me realise how lucky I am in my set up. I have read that on average the household has almost 3x the amount of co2 because of people breathing etc. and because it does not get dispersed as much as outdoors so already just by growing indoor you are gaining. But you are right, the place smells of beer fermenting usually, I get the strawberry cider brewing kit as a side line medicator LOL but boy does it make you fooked!
i know and your moaning about your back fitting a few exhausts lol , im like jack and jill , up a freekin ladder ...., i once smoked and mixed alcohol , oh my lord , you will notice i put once as it wont be happening again ...could you look at my other thread plz and tell me what you think that bud damage is ?
