Hello there grow gods.

Germinated Dec 22nd 2010

Dec 27th all 13 sprouted and were transplanted to 1.5 liter clay colored pots.

Jan 15th repotted to 10 liter rectangulars.
.8 promix .1 river rock .08 humus .02 tobacco

Feeding organic powdered nutes. Ph 6.0+ Temp -80F Hard Water N'ed up by fish and bacteria, primitive aquaponics.

Tallest is 14 inches. 2 x FIMs 2 x TOPs

Questions if I may:

1. All respected lit I've encountered talks about always waiting until preflowers appear before flicking it. These look like crazy tall growing sativas. I want to flick them now, its been almost a month since they ended sprouting, they look hardened enough, some have more than 7 nodes. No pre flowers whatsoever though. Worrying about space since they look humongous. FLICK OR WAIT???

2. Cant get no good nutes around here, I mean it. The best I've found is happy flower extreme 17,17,17. Burned a bit of a couple that I tried it on, but they did explode a bit, not liking it anyway. So I found the only hydro place around, the dude sells me some powdered organics. I run the solution through the hydro babe and then feed the rest with the run off. It ideally brings the water down to 5.8. I keep the pots over 6 with cigar ash. What would you recommend for flowering?

3. Flush?

4. 400W HPS plus 120W Blue Light plus 300W Halogen, with baths of sunlight and 1000W MH that just cant get in the grow room, once a week. Enough?

5. No bugs or anything yet, Cervantes talks about keeping animals off the grow room, my cat though loves the turtle water from the res and hangs around once in a while. Too bad? I keep it as clean as possible, wipe with water-chlorine all the time. Electronic antibug thing in there too.

6. There's a bubblelicious in there too, auto, 2 weeks older, plenty of asymmetrical growth and some pre-flowering, what will happen when I flick?

Please check my journal.

Thanks almighty wise ones.

With no preflowers you can't tell sex.

You can flip now if you want, it wont matter. After you flip, about 1 to 3 weeks you will see pistols. Make sure there isn't light leaks, flowering is more stable that way.

1. I say flip the switch
2.I use Bud Candy during flower but it's really what ya like.
3.Some do Flush before flowerin to flush the salt build up. Some nutes need this done more than others.
4. 400whps and 1000wmh should work I would think.
5.When they start budding you wouldnt want that cat in there. Don't want and cat hair getting in those precious buds. If the cat goes outdoors it could also bring an infestation in to the room.
6. Don't know much about auto's nver grown one but I would think I will just keep doing it's thing. Should be done in like 60 days from seed?

This is just all my opinion, in no way shape or form am I a Grow God. Looking good.

Thank you. Will flick tomorrow. No light whatsoever in there, I even taped all the leds from the electronics. I use green light if I have to go in there during dark period. Will keep you posted. Appreciated.

1. Will do tomorrow! (the 3 shorter ones are still in the small pots, have to repot, will it be too much stress to repott and flick at the same time?)
2. Thats gonna be close to impossible to get around here. If I order it online is gonna be too late, it usually takes month plus, shit postal herr. Any homemade similars?
3. Is it any good to flush if I dont have an RO filter? Would flush with neutral ph, but, very hard water, no harmful chemicals though. Will do anyway. Rite?
4. 400whps is inside the room, cant get the 1000Wmh in there, its a heat monster, so once a week Im planning on taking the plants out of the room close to the windows of my flat to get some sun, and then I would add the 1000wmh from the side or something, this would be once a week though. I could buy another 400W MH or HPS, as you sir say, this weekend, for inside the room, my 400whps creates almost no heat, i could fit another one in there and still be under 80F, I'm guessing. Really necessary? 4x4 feet grow surface.
5. Will have a father to daughter talk with my cat about the new off.limits, will fix here with a big bucket of turtle water so she dont bitch.
6. I've read some journals of bubblelicious growers, autos, that say they aint really autos, you need to flick them anyway. Will let you know how she goes.

If you grew that one on your avatar, it does look pretty heavenly to me, what is it?

Thanks, keep the nonhating.

1. Once my plants turned a foot id probably lower the light timer slowly, at just 14/10 they can slowly develop preflowers but veg a little more at the same time.
2. Old age organics or Jacks classics are good and cheap nutes, try out some organic molasses since bud candy is pretty much just that(of course everyone wants fancy cover flow, advanced nutrients has made plenty of money with that alone).
3. I flush after every water, well when she dries up. The nutrients still in the roots and in the soil, you dont want those to just sit there!(this is ALOT different if your doing organics though)
4. NO HALOGENS, theyre garbage. MHs are your best bet for veg, color temp make good growth of the plant and its roots, and we all know that better roots produce better fruits, or buds i mean. HPS are good for your flower, remember to keep these HID not too close though, they can burn the shit outta plants(why i use fluoros for veg most of the time).
5. Ive kept a slice of garlic and a bottle of vinegar with a few holes in the cap in front of my fan and its worked for about a year, no need to buy expensive electronics when youve got it in your kitchen.
6. Autos seem but im not too sure, most of nirvanas go hermie, i dont want those genetics around my girls. Sensimilla crop is what most growers go for. Keep an eye on it.

Thanx! Vinegar and garlic formula sounds just rite, just did it.
I got some more humus and sheep manure and added it after the flush.
I went ahead and flicked them for 36 hours then 12.12 starting friday morning, wanted to try out the complete shock this time, may go slower next time.
Will keep a close eye on the bubblelicious.
Halogen is gone.
still waiting for my spores!
peace

Been reading about organic molasses, apparently is mostly processed extract from sugar cane. Will give it a go with a mill, filter, and boil. Yhanx 4 that 1
