colored new growth ??

my plant has been on 12/12 light for two weeks and the new leaves that are growing have a dark purple type color on the edges what is this?
i flushed it w/ water yesterday when i saw it instead of watering it w/ nutes

does any one know what this is i cant find anything like this on the computer. :-(

Could be phos. lockout from ph issues or your night time temps are too cold. Or it could simply be a trait of the plant

all growth is hindered by 50 degrees or lower.The metabolic rate of growth slows very much.Anything down around 40 and you risk cell and tissue damage...gotta fix that temp my man.
cold temps do have the ability to make for dark or purplish growth.one night at those temps, i would personally doubt it would be significant to do that,but its hard to tell.What is the strain????

I'm pretty sure by looking at his previous threads that he's growing outside... It's just not the time of year to grow outside

that plant i have i found in my yard in early november from some midds seed i threw away. i kept it alive all winter as a practace grow
i vegged it in and out side because of the long nights it was inside under lights to prevent flowering too early at night.
i allready had nutes and soil in the garage plenty of different size pots.
i live in the DEEP SOUTH the coldest it normaly is is around 60/65 f. all winter. like today the high is 77 f. thru the week not a low under 55.

the main reason im keeping it alive so tht i can learn the life cycle ive never had a plant tht flowered for me cuz ive always had to get rid of it
ive never seen one flower ive never sexed a plant or harvested my own plant i dont care about yeild or potency just a test dummie !!

if thats the case...lol.....if he is able,maybe an easy over/off plastic dome or cage.Doing this with "wall of water" theory works real good for the nights if you get caught in an icelandic breeze.. of course there are so many dynamics that may prove hard to do such a thing, size,# of plants, location, blah blah blah.....I guess its the nature of the beast if you are gonna try to grow when its bitter out.

Dude, you have to consider that the light cycle is what causes the plant to flower. So if for some reason it actually DOES make it through the winter, get ready for a harvest next fall..

My boss who lives in Valdosta Georgia said they are expecting mid 30's late in the week. I would just give up on it man. I'm not trying to bust your balls but just being literal. I don't think it's going to even make it into flowering let alone all the way through veg.

well its been three months and its lived through every frost im in florida the nights are 12 hrs long why would the light cycle be a problem its deff long enough night to flower .. THIS IS A GRAPH OF THE SUNRISE SUNSET IN MY TOWN LOOK AT JAN. 7:18 TO 5:37 THTS CLOSE TO 14 HRS DARK???

Because it will go back into VEG once the light cycle changes again... and if it's not flowering yet then it's probably because your conditions suck and the plant is stressing out.
