I posted a few weeks ago that I noticed these tiny white bugs. They do not in any way look like fungus gnat larvae. They really look like Hypoaspis miles. But I am seeing more fungus gnats. I have fly strips all over the place. I have 1200 ladybugs flying around incase the little white bugs were something bad but there is still lots of little white bugs coming out of the dirt when I move the dirt around. I also noticed, i saw a fungus gnat fly into the drain hole in the bottom of one of my pots, and I stuck my finger in trying to kill the bastard, and about 5 little white bugs came out.
I looked at the photos of fungus gnat life cycle, and the little white guys do not look anything like any lifecycle stage of the fungus gnat. So....IF those flys ARE infact fungus gnats, does that mean I WILL end up having those ugly ass larvae things in my soil? How to fix this problem, and what exactly is my problem, if anyone knows.
Thank you
