there nothing wrong in having your light horizontal but some sort of hood to push the light downwards would help.

northen light really dont have a smell unless i put my head up close to the plant!
NL#1 is starting to form its buds an is growing a good 1-2in a day, NL#2 is way behind and is only just over half the size of NL#1.
i dnt knw if its the stress i`ve put the plants threw but the leaf shape of both plant is are different to what i knw the should be looking like.
we are well into week 6 now and the hardiness of these plants is great, i really dnt knw how anybody can mess up a grow, then again strain is a factor i guess not all plant are as easy to grow like northen lights.

Could You Help Me Out With Some ?s I Got About My First Grow. Im Tring To Figure Out What Nuts To Use And Where To Get Them. Also How Do I Make The Stems Thick Or Does That Happen By Itself.

bit peed off today found a light leek!! ggrrrrrr, but it hasnt seemed to have effected the flowering girls yet! but only time will tell.

I think i know why my plant aint showing buds like yours

My pot is to big.. so its growing to its full capicity for that pot... :( Argh shouldnt of have repoted :D

hello! :) got my air pump yesterday so wont be long till i start my 1st ever hydro grow,think am just going to grow my freebie beans which are thai x haze x skunk, it will be great to see the difference between soil and hydro for myself

Its very diffrent feeling man.... I'm used to having the plant water themselves... and evrything was fine ! I hope you feel the same way !

hey peeps its day 45 in total, 18 days veg,14 days pre-flower and 14 days flowering and plant are growing daily.
NL#1 is 47cm or 19in and NL#2 is only 36cm or 14in tall, i am expecting NL#1 to end up around 60cm(2ft or 24in) and NL#2 somewhere close to that aswell.
NL#2 is about a week behind NL#1 and has not really started to form buds like NL#1.
NL#2 is very compact plant and NL#1 is alot more spaced out, when i take alook at the two next to each other they look like to different plants!

thanks DWR, i havnt really run into any major probs apart from very slight nute burn but i was expecting that! even Mg def has`nt shown any signs of appearing considering i havnt used epsom salt since day 13.

last night when the lights came on i had a big smile on my face :)..... NL#1 is starting to become all frosty!
NL#2 has had a growth spurt of about 2in.
there both on full bloom nutes now,3ml per a litre of water and half veg nutes of 1.5ml per a litre.
anyone think i should increase the veg nutes?
